I've been seeing this avatar at Formidable Firebase Academy frequently over the last month. All he does is stand and never responds to chat requests. As you can see from his scan, the avatar doesn't play. I assume it's there to attract oros for someone, and the oros scale the cliffs and rip the newbies to shreds, and the turrets don't always get them in time.

I assume this is someone's 2nd avatar. Can anyone shed light on this avatar or why he is here?

Here's an example of an oro invasion:

Yes, I see it there every time I'm in the area.

The only reason I can think of is passive skilling on Oros, the spawn is too close to the turret.

he's been there well over a month more like he appeared a month or so after Arkadia was opened up to us.

And the times i been up to him I never seen any Oro's near so probably a recent spawn change made that happen(in my scans I think he always had 1 in all attributes or maybe 11 agility as yours say too see if I can find a screenshot), the A-team is made aware of it

Could it be someone running the tracker client with a 2nd avatar?

the Arkadia avatars running the tracker are placed inside a building afaik and are named so you can easily keep them apart from the 'regular' players

looks to me like he is positioned in the middle a bit so he can reach crafting machine and auction. I see someone afk auto clicking Dampers.

Psyka is and has always been outside near the turret where new players spawn, it's Neil you see inside showing the Oro.

And I know the A-team has been notified about this avatar before so I guess he's not doing anything against any rules or actions would have been taken. And as I said in my previous post the spawn hasn't always been that close to him, so no he's not "skilling" evade as it would have been a poor place to put him from the start for that purpose.

Maybe this will become our first Arkadian myth tho lol

hrm, can we move him? :)

All joking aside, how does his position near the turrets in the arrival area allow oro to make it all the way forward, past carabok turrets, and enter the command center?

    I'd call that a lucky Oro! :)

They climb over the hills next to the guide terminals... Once inside, the turrets don't always target them. This particular one followed me into the command center. He was really excited about getting his picture taken.

Did anyone figure out what this is all about?

Three months later, Psyka is still standing there, probably should add him as a PoI on the map...

Got to be a tracker avatar. I have seen him standing around in Sakura City trade center at various times since around the time the tracker first came online. I suspect he is actually a "relative" or sanctioned second account of Starfinder.

His placement at Formidable is VERY annoying. That's where I did almost my entire IFN challenge and I had to hunt that annoying area because of how he attracts the spawn. I wish whoever is responsible for him would be considerate and move him into the service center.

interesting i'll have to ask starfinder next time i see him. In wonder though if he is attracking mobs and not dying or reviving at the same spot but getting killed over and over if he's gaining evade skill and then chipping it out?

Another possibility is it could be a dummy acct with the ava parked to get the Oro to spawn faster. I noticed a few days ago how many critters can spawn if u are close to the spawn point. I had to go afk and was gone for quite awhile. I came back and the spawn near me had easily 10 times the normal number of spawn. It was a sheer wall of critters. Maybe he comes with his main when they are dense enough and then grenades a bunch while they are close together. Rinse/repeat every few hours.

Skilling that way never is profitable. It costs more in electricity to run the computer than the skill you get.
