Gday All, Lets show Dave our support by mustering some of closest friends from PCF and planetside to bring them over to here to widen the audience and exposure. Maybe get them to list you as a referrer and maybe the guys behind the screens can give us an update of when we reach 10 players brought in and signed up? I think we all know Dave and as Aussies we should support him. I have met, played alongside and enjoyed a few glasses of red with him and being a player himself I think he is in tune with our needs and not too far removed from the community and the support base to his new venture. We as gamers and lovers of all things TECH can assist with our tweets, posts, FB, blogs etc to ramp up exposure. I certainly feel a sense of investment in this as I look at the team and then around at the supporters and all I see is people who I have shared my downtime with, the laughs, the frustrations, the highs and lows but still we remain strong players in our own virtual paradise. Sometimes it isn't the game play that I sign-in for, its the laughs and chats with the members, all of whom I consider close friends but may never meet through distance and real life obstacles. We have a chance of this planet actually eclipsing the first and it can happen if we make it happen. Time to start calling in those favours and running a finger down the friends list and getting some more like minded players in here! Great idea Hon, but would advise to be careful in how it's done, because we cannot advertise or solicit members of another forum to come register here - it's been made very clear ... however, EntropiaPlanets is definitely supporting that effort and will assist in whatever way we can for sure.

I was speaking from the perspective of advertising on another forum site to solicit people to register here, but ... all those other things you mentioned? ... absolutely ... and I am doing my part in that respect as well. Nothin says you cant post on your society sites, or on the society sections allocated back on the "Official" site, nor any private sections there. I shall pass on the news or Arkadias arrival into the picture in what ever ways I can. I think this will move forward more quickly then other planned projects for the platform and will be keeping a close eye here.

Referral system Neither of the existing planets has a referral system atm. I know FPC is looking into one as a question about that came up in their last survey and so does Rocktropia, Nextisland. If Arkadia could come up with a really neat referral system it could really make a difference. A referral system can be set up even before planet is actually launched. Make people bring in new registered accounts in exchange for future rewards at launch date. Ofc this would involve recruiting some new players but wouldn`t hurt to have some fresh noobie playerbase from the get go. I guess you can take notice from Rocktropia which is such an empty wasteland atm that things should be approached little differently.
Don't get me wrong, but instead of bringing 10 entropianists to Arkadia, one should bring 10 infidels to Entropia Universe - no matter what planet. Growth is the shit and it'd benefit everyone. edit: okay, this was (mainly ) about forum. pointed this address to fellow finns.
