Is someone giving beer away in this thread??? Only explanation I can think of for having so many aussies in one place.
For us non Aussie types could you fill us in on some of the lingo you use?? If we are to all come here with this as the main way to speak maybe a quick Aussie to English dictonary could be made? For instance..the terms Downunder..I know many get that but not all... Same with things like Kiwi..From my knowlege its a fruit...is that the connotation you mean as that can also be taken as fruity= goofy= funny... or fruity = effemanant (spelling).. you guys come accross to boisterous to be the latter from experience but again many will not know this.
Downunder - we are in the southern hemisphere Kiwi - small flightless bird unique to New Zealand, therefore we call NZers, Kiwis Beer - fluid which is used instead of blood in the veins of Aussie and Kiwi men
