I noticed this a while back, but it wasn't all that obvious; having been somewhere where it is, decided to report it. Around Celeste Quarry (which is a good kilometre from the shore) there are background sound effects of splashing water as if near shore. Other places as well, but in the southeast part of the desert (again at least a kilometre from water) the sound is quite loud and gets louder when moving, as if my avatar was swimming. This is overlaid onto the sound effects that should be there. Anyone else having this problem? Sorry, I can't give coordinates - but it covers quite a large area anyway.
What are the altitudes of these locations? I know there is water underneath the entire continent... maybe these areas are very low and the sound is coming thru the landscape?
Please see attached screen shot showing my location where I can hear the sounds of water gently lapping. View attachment 2130 Also similar sounds can be heard between the back of the command centre and the base of the cliff at Sanctuary Cove. Yet if you go around to the front of the CC there is no water sound despite being closer to the visible water.
