hey guys since the last time a was on Arkadia, i have doubled my skills basically, i wanna know is it worth it in the long run to come over to arkadia for a palyer that hunts for the most part? are there enough traders etc.. to sell loot to, the reason why i ask is, that i was on Rocktropia for quite some time and the problem there is that if one sets out hunting or mining even, one can not sell loot, or not easily.. and i want to cycle my peds hehe thanks in advance
I am primarily a hunter. Prior to the start of the competition I actually found it a bit easier than on Caly. It took longer to sell but I could get higher MU. Some things I would craft with because they are TT food - eg generic leather. Some things I take back to Caly to sell once I have enuff to make the trip worthwhile. Eg I have 4 or 5 esi waiting for my next trip back. Right now things are a little crazy though as the current competion has increased amount of loot on sale without there being a corresponding increase in crafting. So I am getting lower MU and TTing more. Regards, KikkiJikki
Absolutely yes, with or without the event, but you need a bigger wallet in which to consider the trips back to caly to sell your stuff. Otherwise, just from the local market is almost impossible to survive, for now, but will get way better when tailoring will get implemented.
note people, that you can always hire a pilot to handle such trades. just hinting ^^ back on topic, yeah I've hunted quite some time on arkadia, it's good to do only compared to calypso you just need a bigger pedstack to sit on for your cycle. stuff does get sold slowly but with higher mu.
thank you all for the replies so far, i have a booster rocket thing for my VTOL. i like to hut ECO for the most part and as most players in my caliber watching PEDs is an issue, but i think i will make a trip over to Arkadia in the near future, for fun in nothing else ^.^v
