No need to apologize. As you can see, some people just need to complain. As was stated, the lack of textures was acknowledged almost from the beginning and still people tried to look for them. This is on them, not on the Ark Team.
I agree completely. I know not everyone uses forums, or this one in particular, but for those of us who do, I think we have the best chance in all of Entropia to actually have problems and things that aren't working noticed and attempts made to 'fix' them. We have an active Developer's feedback section here, that is read, paid attention to and responded to by those who have some chance of doing something, the Arkadia Studios team. What they have no direct control over they can and do discuss with MindArk. If it doesn't work, post the info over there and bring it to their attention? Tbh, as much as I know they try to pay attention to the whole of the forum, I read it myself everyday and surely miss a lot of stuff anyway. If something has been posted about or discussed but not put into that section directly for them, are we sure they know? In regards to the OP, I shreadded 59 non-Arkadia BPs (components/weapons/tools/attachments) this morning. Odd that all I seem to loot are an occasional Arkadia (L) weapon or and (UL) non-Arkadia BP while crafting weapons. I gave up on attachments. So I guess MA got it half right. Materials seem to be based on Arkadian Ores and Em, but the BPs are still incorrect. I tired a test by crafting an Arkadia BP on Calypso and guess what .. looted a non-Arkadia BP, go figure.
Sorry? Too late for what, exactly? Are you basing the success of a developing Arkadian economy soley on the PED Cyclers from another planet? I sincerely hope the Ark team hasnt pinned their eco model on offworld financing. Im hoping they take their time to ensure the foundation for a usable, synergistic economy is created. Calypso sure wasnt built in one day, or even one year. Its going to be awhile to grow a new playerbase, attract new peds, and to see all the cogs of the economy start spinning in unison. On topic: Kinks like these bp issues have been, and likely always will be, something that has to be fixed after the patches are released. I'd rather see ark items only craftable on ark, and vice versa... Export / Import the end products, not the resources needed to craft them.
You may be right, but only in the case that Arkadia is planned to grow in the same number of years that Calypso took. And I dont know if this is the case, honestly. Arkadia needs established players, IMO, because they can make it grow fast, and time is money for everybody, Arkadia included. Arkadia is designed to be a standalone planet, and that is good, but IT IS NOT alone; it needs to keep their players and needs to attract old ones.
Wow, appreciate the lively thread I can confirm that this has been fixed, to a degree, as attachment BPs are now dropping, albeit very very rare.
I still don't believe its fixed ran 1000ped attachments only bp's calypso ones. Getting very pissed it is in no way right.
They are now dropping, but haven't got any I am after lol. Big thanks to Dave for getting ma to fix it fast!
Noticed you have got a few last couple days but I still don't think its fixed. Another 1000ped clicks and only getting calypso ones. I'm over 5000ped clicks in , and sure some have more than me. Have stacks of calypso bp's from it. Only one I got was tt bp from ark.
why doesn't r relesed amps bps taking arkadia ores to make the economy start for miners and crafters? can't understand this being a mining/crafter i'll never move to a planet to mine/craft to tt
