Ok thought I would post this as this has come up a couple fo times now in different areas of the forum.

    What is MA time.

MA time is MindArk Time. it is the standard in game time that will allow you to help yourselfs meeting up with ppl for trades, hunts etc.

MA time is what you get when you press the time buton in game in your chat window (U key by Default) The Time show is either Universal Standard Time (UST) Or Grenwich Mean Time (GMT), These are both one and the same, it just depends on where in the world that you come from.

So MA Time also does not become affected by seasional time changes in the Real World. UST/GMT do not change so neither does MA time. In the summer the UK is on MA + 1 when they are in British Summer Time (BST) and MA time in the winter when the UK is on GMT.

So know you all know what MA time is and how you can work out where you are in the world.

However for any dealing that invole meeting in the universe use MA time on here so thers can then work out when they need to be on in their own time zone.

Hopefully that will help any new players out there when they need toknow what MA time is.

And to add a small thing.

MA time is also shown at the bottom of this forum.
There it is called Arkadia Time.

So you don't need to calculate or go ingame to see the time in game ;)

    Regards,
    Ion

I just checked the bottom of this page to see the time, it said:
"All times are GMT -4. The time now is 04:19 PM. | Arkadia Time: 08:19 PM "
I'm in Eastern Standard Time in Canada, we use a 12 hour clock here. But EU time is a 24 hour clock, So EU time is 20:19, not 08:19PM.
This seems to be a "forum thing" I think it should be changed.

Ok i've set the default type to 24 hour, and also added the Day before the time on Arkadia Time. This should make it a little easier to see what's what :)

Thanks Van. Note too that the 'all times are "whatever" is each persons specific forum settings for the time zone they are in, so mine says "All times are GMT +1." since I am in the UK, while for example Adamas's says "All times are GMT -4." based on his settings for his location in Canada. If that bit should be reading incorrectly for the time zone you are in just check your general forum settings :)

Faye, I'm stubborn, and still call it MA time, since living in the EU it is always difficult for me to not to think of that whenever I say 'EU' lol.
