A lot of my armour is now tier 1.x. Am not sure what enhancer if any it is worth using on armour. Any feedback appreciated. Thanks, KikkiJikki
Depending if it is L or UL armor. For L weapons I hear Eco enchancers are a good idea. For UL it didnt. Frankly I think tier 1 does do much just like on weapons. But i am trying to tier mine armor to atleast tier 5 and then see what armor defense enchancers do to the overal stats would be intersting to see that. BTW above is only what I heared. I myself have the eco encahncer 9crafted my self once) but it is not like i did test or so
its UL. highest armours are shogun, kobold, gremlin. Right now its the shogun that is tiering because i am using shogun+5b against Huons but its the same basic situation and question for all of them.
It makes no sense to use enhancers on these lower armor sets. The advantage you get is a % on the current stats, but the costs are static. This means: Enhancers costs the same PEDs for Pixie as it costs for Shadow. But on Shadow it brings way much more value than for Pixie. You see that if you add Armor Defense Enhancers to your shogun, it brings very little additional protection, you will not notice the difference when hunting.
I've got Eco enhancer Is on 5/7ths of my Gnome, I can't really say I've noticed the difference in repair costs on Gnome+5As after a hunt, but then again it never has cost very much anyway. I did the 100 Longu mission mainly on Youngs with ~20 being Mature or Old and the repair bill for armour and plates was 2.00 PED. Lvl 24 Evader and rarely got a 1.0 hit. So I don't know how helpful my experience will be to you but that's it
Armor "eco enhancer" (durability enhancers) increase the durability of an armor by 10% per level and thus decrease the decay. The impact of durability on decay is small however: http://www.entropedia.info/Page.aspx?page=Armor+Decay For unlimited armors you need a 1000 point increase to save 1% of the decay. Gnome has a dura of 1400, one level of enhancers will increase it by 140 points. They have like no effect and will only increase your total costs. On L armors, especially ones with high markup and high protection, they make a lot of sense.
