Congratulations Dani, I'm sure you're going to love playing on Arkadia with the new laptop. Before we agreed with Alienware to have their products featured in the game, I had an M11x sent to my office to test it. I was blown away by the power of such a small machine. I also plugged it into a 24" LCD which was awesome. Ran on high settings no problem at all.
And thats why for most of us owning one of those is an unatainable dream. Theyre expensive if not the most expensive on the market. For you to have that agreement with Alienware is trully amazing and genius. In a RCE VU its gotto be noted in the history books as a first. I doubt that First Planet Company, MA, or whatever name they like to call themselves today, would never have done something like this or considder it. Ill stick with mine.. Alienware has always been wayyy over priced for what they do. Dont get me wrong they are decent machines but you could build one with twice the power for the same price yourself. Now they are subsidiaries of "Dell" I wont comment there. The motivation by both Arkadia and Alienware in regards to the game regardles of my personal opinion is freakin AWESOME tho. I think continued partnering would benefit both Arkadia AND Dell over time. Getting a product out into the real world like this in any game is a stroke of genius in the promotional aspect. Good job to all and I wish those chasing after them best of luck. (Psst.. Im down to my last functioning keybd.....)
