Intel suggests that after previous successful experiments that led to the enraged Scoria and Teladon, they have expanded the project to also include the normally peaceful Monura. The IFN is once more requiring that the colonists form a courageous task force, ready to restore peace to the 8 Coins area in case of a repeat of previously seen unnatural wrath unleashed from the once noble creatures. From previous encounters we request you to prepare yourself for ferocious battles. So make sure you have prepared yourself with both the required gear and mindset you will need in these encounters, and set up a network of suppliers for any unforeseen equipment you might require. To help facilitate the requirement for increased demand of equipment to keep the creatures from spreading the IFN have requested that the taxes in the Underground and on the Moon be lowered, which has been granted so the taxes will be set to only 3% during the entire threat from these enraged specimens.

You do realise that the tax from UG and moon is what makes the payouts on the deeds for those 2 locations ? No deeds for coins area and therefore has been no tax
I read the full post ... They mentioned they lowered taxes on ug and moon.. I wanted to reply on that part. There are some deeds like cld (now went to share thingy ) they don't rely on taxes.
Moon @ Underground has 5% tax , same as 8coins. Just that 8coins dont show tax but your loot is still 95% expected return , same as the moon and underground. I just think Mindark and planet partners are bad at explaining taxes and its a clumspy system. But in the end loot is the same on 5% taxed LA as a none taxed area.
Just want to mention that this is false information. 8coins is in fact no tax but shared loot mobs have different behavior and my data (and testing) shows that shared mobs are capped at 95%, whether temporary or permanent (for "kickbacks"). Ark migration mobs should never be shared. Same goes for abominations.
For reference, the entire mission is 25k ped cycle to unload all the soulbound clothing, no buffs. Just trophies.
And it's kind of funny in the last ark dev interview he (I believe Dylan) said "No more clothes without buffs". If anyone want to find the video. BTW I am doing this for the shirts. Best shirts in the game right now. They will last more than 25k ped cycle.
So far, so good. Mobs for every level, and surprisingly () I saw people hunting all levels... which is encouraging. Maybe Arkadia can be "revived" after all, although I realize it'll take more than 1 event (and t-shits) to do so.
