ACKNOLEDGEMENTS: I love the word BLATHER lately. If I were to sum up the following bizzarro smoke blowing name dropper in a word, it would be "credit". Not like "God has made us lenders, not borrowers" kind of bank money credit, but credit as in respect and acknowledgement. Let me elaborate a little. After browsing the 311th floor of the mostly empty complex of high rise apartments being skillfully and awe strikingly beautifully AMAZINGLY slam packed full apartment shop by [Auktuma]. I don't think he likes me, but has done a little to help. I think I am far more stunned by his success then he is able to tolerate me invading the planet he owns. HE IS SUCCESSFUL, I am just another ant on the pile of ant corpses. I hope I made that more clear. Yeah, folks, I am by far from successful, but I blame 100% of my recent ability to do a little better on this guy, [Deatz]. He did his research, tested the waters, played it at near genius level, took a chance on me and gave me a light to reflect his obvious people skills on. I hope I have not let him down. Thank you Deatz, for the opportunity I have been entrusted with. I hope I have not or will not ever blow it. I have before, and have reformed, mostly. I am not a blower, I am a grower, or I try. I will forget a lot of people with this short list, but never this guy, [MrEddie]. He is like a rookie savant, and I feel like a rookie when he is correcting me. He knows s4it, man, and if he does not know it, then he knows someone who does. I try to keep it short with him and all my stupid questions, though, because eventually I try his patience and the convo turns less productive. Keeping people like him on your FL is like having a list of experts to call on when you are stumped, or just curious. Thanks, Mr Eddie, for everything from blueprint alerts to atrox locations, you are the best! And then there is the nuts and bolts connections, not long folks, just two left to thank, going back to the beginning. Right in the middle of the beginning is Mr Neil, [Greenleaf] who let me in to his mining corporation right after the first time I dropped on FOMA when I was a MS pilot for Entropia Transport (the first 20p run I ever made I hit for 600p iron there) and so his ad hiring miners gave this MS pilot something to do on his time off. I paid a deposit and got paid to mine, as well as free tools, when I was a level 0 miner. At the time I only had one run under my belt, but I was already making enhancers, amps and tools to sell, so why not? I stayed on with him right through to level 18, when the crafter-for-hire and blueprint loaning ventures really took off, and I have to say the mining knowledge I got paid to earn, and the LBML maps I got paid to fill in, they are still indispensable for targeted mining when this crafter runs out of sources for mined resources. And last, but most important of all is [Hungry]. My mentor left me, by my request, on Cyrene where I sweated Dire weeds until I had 20p worth. I hitched a free ride to Caly and with a few lucky breaks became a sweat reseller until I had 3000p. 3000p! Then I went to FOMA and became a Trader and started crafting welding wire and tools to sell to repair crews. This led me to being recruited into a top notch business as a MS pilot in another real, paying job in EU. This job taught me about repair, crafting, server borders and space. Most importantly, about crafting and finding a market, blueprints, and a source of materials to skill while skilling. It showed me how important skills and skilling are. I saw some stuff then, The Great Summoning for one, but was finally let go for calling a passenger a chicken head when she refused to use the force channel at a time when pirates were openly attacking MSs, and bought one of their own. It was a bad call on a bad night for me, but this job opened up space, crafting and really, the universe for me, and although I blew the awesome opportunity with ET the lessons were really the foundation I have built everything in my game on. Deatz, Mr. Eddie, Neil, and Narfi, if you are still out there, still playing and can still see lil me allllllll the way down here, be aware that I am still inching my way, like a slug on meth, closer daily to the middle of the top of the very bottom.
