Its not a scam! when you hunt in taxed area if you are not able to cover the taxes with mu you get from loot you are loosing. Its your choice to hunt in taxed area or not.
Yup i am talking BS . I just killed 2-3 mobs in taxed area , got bad loot and started calling PP Scammer.
On my first post I stated some fact but you called them BS . Then i posted what you are doing Well now not gonna reply as its not even a topic just another whining thread.
Lemma: Every rant is someone's "honest assessment". It is subjective by definition. Question: What is the current tax setting on your land area? Do people hunting on your land report similar experiences, or to the extent of calling you a scam? Question 2: Does your elevated status as land owner in this VR give you a better understanding of how the tax system works? It is a mystery to most of us peasants. Observation: Outbreaks of frustration over bad returns are as old as the game itself. Personally, I had unexpectedly good loot from Nusul this morning, as on several other moments lately, but generally things have been pretty bad, to the extent of markup not being able to cover losses. I have publicly complained about extended downturns before. But it happens because there are underlying economic mechanisms at work, sometimes to the effect of self-amplifying negativity. This is when the company running the show and living off it ought to get concerned, too. Conclusion: I stop hunting or doing anything when losses reach a predefined spending limit. The most basic rule of discipline, also as old as the game. Personal note: I was there in the same group as you last night at the Mechs in UG. I didn't get what I was looking for within my means (too little for being statistically relevant but it is what it is at every occasion) and felt no pain signing out after a little while despite constant, addictive globalling. What is it with folks who can't control their impulses and then blame everybody but themselves? You are not a random noob. People look up to you for being a land owner, but you're working hard on deconstructing your image.
I was one of those trying to pilfer a little with just a Barbarella because I know since quite some time that there is no joy in competing with deep pockets. Was hoping for some Arkoins whose value would be compatible with the chosen gear, but didn't get any. There certainly are some complex dynamics at work when such a diverse gathering takes on the same target which may be impossible to foresee at development level, i.e. in not so many words, mathematically chaotic behaviour. I also don't claim to know enough for having the right to dismiss your observations as invalid, but I believe a) your criticism is directed at the wrong target (should be the platform instead), b) you're not translating these observations into decisions mitigating your personal damages, and c) you're hardly aware of your potential influence on newer players through your chosen elevated role and therefore can't see the point of taking some degree of responsibility for it. Is there a forest or beach in your vicinity where one can go on a nice, long walk? It really helps
