Important! Planet Arkadia Release Notes - 15.20.0

Greetings Colonists

With this update comes the preparation of what is to arrive in 2019. This year has been one of discovery and preparation for the exciting new series of events, missions and story line to take place on Planet Arkadia especially the Arkadia Moon.

We have been working on overhauling systems currently used on all of Arkadia servers and with that comes fresh opportunity to further your experience on Planet Arkadia, the Arkadia Underground and Arkadia Moon.

This update brings the following.


Miltons Crest (Implemented)

Miltons Crest was a barren area filled with just land plots and nothing else. We have sent in the gardener and he has prepared the area with beautiful placement of vegetation to make the plots feel more like home. There will be more upgrades coming to the surroundings in a future update to enhance your stay there.

PVP4 Radar Removed (Implemented)

After receiving many requests from the community, we have decided to remove the radar glitch from PVP4 areas on Planet Arkadia so you will be able to see any creature or player on the mini map. - We wish you the safest of adventures.

PTECH Introduction (Implemented)

PTECH industries have started to communicate with the public and started asking favors and assistance in matters around the Arkadia Moon on a daily basis. Their representatives are scattered across the surface of the moon, so you will need to find out what they require assistance with. They have something new to trade once you complete their requests and it will be required for special trades in the next VU.

Smuggler Invasions (Implemented)

The smugglers have started moving their forces to the Arkadia Moon. Word has it that they are in search for some hidden temple that holds hidden knowledge of the past, also pointing the way to a hidden treasure spoken in history of the Ancient Arkadians. The IFN have been requested to investigate these invasions for clues to what they are up to.

Also note that they have brought with them a smaller version of the Smuggler Droids, one that doesn't supposedly do as much damage but will give you a challenge. Time to solo those droids.

Arkoin Auction Incoming - Coming soon

There will be a set of auctions taking place on the Arkadia Forum during December and into 2019. So keep watching the forum for updates.

Oratan Attacks - (Implemented)

The Oratan Attacks are back but with a little bit of a twist. These events will take place at random locations across Arkadia but be ready when they do, they say something "divine" will be lurking among their numbers.

Gold Rush (Early 2019)

We are in the final process of finishing a complete new overhaul of the Gold Rush. This will be released in the next VU (early 2019) and details will follow shortly afterwards. We have listened to everyone regarding this matter and know you want it back, but we are developing a better way for everyone involved to get to choose their prizes according to their effort in the event. We will update you as soon as we have more information to share.

Last season for Alpha Core Cards (Implemented)

The Alpha Core Cards have been in the system and the rewards are still in place. For anyone who can collect a complete collection of the cards will be presented with Firebase Apartment. This is the last chapter of this volume of cards as a new collection will be implemented in an upcoming VU. So get cracking and getting those collections completed as you will be presented with a beautiful frame that holds all the cards once you hand in those cards to an Official.
Only 10 Apartments are left.

Christmas Gifts. (Implemented)

We hope you enjoy them on Christmas day - They are divided between those who are Depositors, Estate owners and of course the general population.

Name Change (Auction) (Implemented)

We have changed our listing name on the Auction from "Planet Arkadia" to "Arkadia" for easier navigation. This comes from multiple requests from the community having trouble scrolling down to find Arkadias auction planet side.

Loot Balances (Implemented)

We are finished with the 3rd of a 4 part loot balancing schedule on Arkadia. Once completed, it will entitle a complete overhaul of all loots. You will be able to discover interesting drops in mining and hunting that has never been seen before, You will also discover mobs drop items related to what you are hunting.

Creature Balances (Implemented)

Some creatures have been balanced for easier engagement enabling us to introduce new special spawns in the future. Go out and explore the differences.

Official Planet Arkadia Discord Server (Implemented)

We have Discord server running for over a month now and it has been accepted well by the community. Here you can group up with members and discuss Entropia Universe and all things related to Arkadia including get notifications when dynamic events are taking place and passing suggestions and concerns directly to Arkadia Officials.
