Arkadia now has Land plots and I am one of the lucky ones to have a deed. So I started building on it. Info on how to is available on the Caly forum, but I still ran into a few tricky bits, so I thought I'd share them here to save others some trouble and time. Top Tips: 1. It seems you have to have your deed on you (in inventory) to trigger the build option. 2. With your deed on you, walk onto the property to trigger the pop-ups (builds are not done from the estate terminal) 3. You have to build a Snug (or house) before you can build a Garden. 4. Materials required for a Snug; Spoiler: Stage 1 Materials Spoiler: Stage 2 Materials Spoiler: Stage 3 Materials Spoiler: Stage 4 Materials (Final Stage) - This one is FREE: 5. After a build stage completes you have to walk right up to the "build progress swirl" and zoom right in to see the "completed tick" - see screenshots. No stage progress tick visible from a distance. Bit closer to the build swirl, but still need to zoom in. Finally found that progress complete button - wish this was automated ! 6. Once you have built the snug it looks like this: 7. Now you can Build an Acorn (Garden module) for this you require the following Materials: Spoiler: Acorn Stage 1 Materials Spoiler: Acorn Stage 2 Materials Spoiler: Acorn Stage 3 Materials Spoiler: Acorn Stage 4 Materials
good, good post.... maybe one day i have my first 4 digit ath, and this post will help me in construction
Updated: Just finished building me Snug (the 1st one on Ark), now starting on my Acorn (Garden Module). And an early congratulations to [Meloveyou LongTime FiveDolla] his house should be ready soon too.
I am now the proud owner of the Miltons Crest #4 property. Thank you so much for this post. What are the differences between the snug and the acorn? Why pick one or the other? You don't. The acorn is an add on to the snug. It is really just the garden box. I have all the required blueprints to build, most UL with QR, and many L for better success, if anyone on Caly or Ark needs help. Also a map of treespawns and blueprints for all Terratechs, including 4's. I have made enough to provide a set of acorn mats if anyone wants them. I have all the materials for the box made, and stage 1 on the snug completed, its building! Snug Completed 2/10/2020
I would like to add the costs in the future, have not finished, so cant count them totally. Had a bit of confusion. Tried to do stage 2 through the construction menu, but it was just prompting me for stage 1 mats. So I remade them, if anyone is looking. You have to do stage through through the "swirlie" or blue check in the center of the plot.
The question I get the most is "What good is a land plot?" The answer is, what is it worth? I see it as an investment into Arkadia. Land plots are just potential, right now. They are investments with the potential of value. How much would you pay for a plot on Ark, and how much would you pay for a completed one? Mine is for sale, for the right price. ATM I would take 15k p for my shaded corner plot with Yurt and garden. That's how much potential I see in plots. It could be a home to teleport to. Unfortunately, this feature is not yet available. Seems like If I buy land and build a house on it, I should be able to call it home, and therefore teleport to it, but alass, the devs did not think of this or left it out. Gardening skills. These are the only blueprints so far that use transgen fruit:http://www.entropiawiki.com/Info.aspx?chart=Blueprint&id=3162 http://www.entropiawiki.com/Info.aspx?chart=Blueprint&id=3136 http://www.entropiawiki.com/Info.aspx?chart=Blueprint&id=3137 http://www.entropiawiki.com/Info.aspx?chart=Blueprint&id=3181 Please let me know how to loot them, and if there are any others. I can place a personal storage and Shopkeepers there as well, turning it into a shop. And who knows what is in store for the future. It would be great if we could continue building on the site, having many options to fit in to the limited space. I would like to see the addition of the following upgrades: Shop Item Points: Like a roadside vegetable stand Trade/Crafting/Storage Terminal: like in the Crafting Building in Harbor or upstairs at Military Bikini Car Wash: Repair/Wash/Display Multiple Vehicles at once Animal Shelter: To Spawn Multiple pets at the same time I would love to hear your ideas of what you would do with the space, and what COULD be done to improve it. I am looking for a T-angle UL blueprint, I have Limited, but those wont last forever. And Robot Thermal Sensors. Seems to be a lack of them, I hear they come from Beacon missions. Anyone want to team on one? Jack Hipster Kimble Side note, Stage 3 Is now complete 2/8/2020 six days from purchase to Yurt! 2/10/2020 Stage 1 and 2 done for the garden, thermal sensors y'all! 2/15/2020 Finished garden useful outdated gardening info: https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/...?291303-Gardens-Price-to-Grow-Transgen-Plants https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/forums/showthread.php?31839-How-to-do-a-Beacon-Mission https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/forums/showthread.php?314340-Gardening-Tips&p=3749334#post3749334 https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/...rden-Plus-more-Info-Guide&highlight=gardening
Support Case Filed: I am trying to finish building on one of many empty land plots on Arkadia, and am having a world of trouble obtaining Robot Thermal Sensors. Does this loot still drop? I understand it is supposed to, but in order to get one, I need to make a 25p beacon, which also requires Robot Thermal Sensors. Shouldn't the materials for building be fairly easy to obtain, so the plot deed owners are not stuck with something that is impossible to make use of? And speaking of making use of something, why is it I now own a home, but cannot teleport to it? It is kinda common sense that I should be able to teleport home to the home I built on a land plot, right? Are there any plans on making the land plots more useful? How do i obtain the blueprints for the fruit weapons if I ever manage to build the garden? Are the fruits usuable for more then just these four blueprints? Thank you for your careful consideration, Jack Hipster Kimble?
