The only shop I know of that specializes in pets and supplies is Emma's at Celeste Harbour North. Finding it elsewhere is random luck. But there are quite many fruit sellers in trade chat. If you mine or buy a good stack of Sweetstuff it might be sufficient, or at least help over gaps.
