That's precisely the effect Zelazny described with such poignancy. Its metaphysical meaning goes right over the head of those who are stuck with their feet in the swamp. No shame, it would catch anyone of us. The rest is merely saved by not having the funds to participate on a competitive level, in our concrete example. My like was for finding community in knowing the great author. One darker possibilty remains unexplored, that this damaging silence is not exactly self-inflicted. Who the hell knows.
I am amazed that the official MindArk stance seems to be to avoid and prolong discussions on these issues. I say official, because I find it hard to believe that MindArk does the same with Caly and we see PP's acting the same way for the most part when issues arise. In my own business there are times when I have no good news for a customer, but the fact remains I must at least make an effort to contact them to let them know I am working on the issue and that I will keep them updated. Silence is the death of many relationships in business. If you do not remain in constant contact with your customers they get worried, if you owe a vendor money and you do not take their calls, they will sue you as they have no idea if you are trying to pay them back or not. This game isn't much different and yet, we get very little updates on any issues that arise.
I find lack of professionalism not plausible for an explanation. Something more sinister is going on. Politics, gag orders, who knows. Seen it all.
In a normal gaming company you sign NDA's to prevent crucial information from leaking out, even as a beta/alpha tester. Entropia with multiple different companies working on the same platform most likely has a multitude of these, with a variety of clauses for various reasons. Something to consider maybe, because no company likes to look bad in anyway.
I am aware, and that's exactly what I call politics if it covers more than mere technical trade secrets. If it hampers your ability to talk to your customers and resolve problems to the degree shown, then it makes the company look bad anyway. The damage might be even greater, depending on the case. Do they have to take it lying down when they're called unprofessional as a consequence? Such contractually enforced loyalty is very often very one-sided.
New week, new bump! I dont know how A-Team feel but i would feel ashamed if anything. Its not hard to check the forum, write a line, or actually do something.
Yes, also completely new items for prizes and slightly modified instances. PPVU scheduled for next month. I wonder if A-Team are working on it or even know it...
I can't even tell anymore when i won my land plot. Also hoping Ark team have something in store for us to make up for all this...
Aren't the plots pretty much worthless now anyway? It looks like all the Planets are pretty much abandoned now by MA except for Calypso.
