This thread is in reference to :
    http://arkadiaforum.com/threads/aakas-instance-5-thrown-out-with-about-26-minutes-left.13626/

It's almost been a year and I have been having fun thinking of what I want to do when the clock ticks over to ONE year.

Am thinking of it in terms of what will you do if you paid / spend about 40-50 bucks to a vendor / service provider, and they didn't provide the service after taking the cash.

Am curious what you will do when such an incident happens : when you get over charged? when you pay for a service and it's not provided? when you pay for a product and it's not provided? Other similar examples where you pay for something and you dont get what you pay for.

Later on, when the one year mark happens (assuming this is not resolved by that time), I will post what I plan to do. Am pretty sure it will be something different from the average response. Like I said, I have been having fun thinking of what I want to do ;)

Well i spend 5000 bucks without getting what i paid for. So far i've just been waiting and waiting and waiting.
Guess you'll have something in mind that is more fun.

If by 5000 you mean the amount you deposited, I think my last estimate is already over 10000 in deposits, and am still depositing.

With that said, this is a game, with no right / wrong way of playing / getting entertained. As such, am planning to entertainment myself in an "unusual" way from this. Just a few more days before it hits one year and if nothing happens by then, I will do something which I will find entertaining.

I think I should bump my unseen support request and put a link here. Of course they will probably ignore this, but they can't say they have not been warned ;)

Well, my first and foremost reaction would be to never support that vendor ever again. I can think of three such occasions, and one pending.

As for MindArks support I can say that I have been waiting for support since January and have been updated my case a few times to get them to notice it to no avail. It's a somewhat insignificant issue yet it would be nice if I could get rid of that particular headache once and for all. There have been suggestions to open a new support case and point to the first one - which I think is idiotic and shouldn't need to be done. Makes me feel ashamed to be Swedish to be honest. :bag:

    Well,

It's one year now. My last update to support, asking for an update was on the 2017-06-19, when I also linked to this thread. No responses from support. Not much in the way of responses from Dylan either, other then to say that they are waiting for support as well.

This is what I intend to do :

    1) Create a website, with details, including logs of what's been going on with support / discussions with various authoritative people about support.

I have some spare domains which are currently unused, or I can register a new domain. It doesn't cost much to register a domain and I have ample spare web hosting space to put up a site, database, etc. Furthermore, a simple web site based on wordpress or some other portal system takes up only minutes (I have licensed images, fonts, icons, etc to use as I see fit, so I don't have an issue with populating a website with suitable design elements).

    2) I have spare google ad words credits (I also don't mind adding more to the ad word credits) and have various terms related to the game directed to my new site. I might add some credits to facebook ads, etc as well. May as well learn how their ad systems works and how effective that is.

I think there has never been anyone who created a website and advertised in various online locations. So this will be something different.

What I hope will happen :
MA gets a kick in it's butt and picks up solving support issues.

Worst case, MA ignores this, everyone ignores this. They get a bunch of bad publicity.

Am an IT geek. I work on IT stuff. I consider various IT related stuff as fun - including making web sites, etc. As such, this is FUN (for me). And I don't think it will even cost me much (may not even cost me anything), since I already have ample resources seating around unused.

So, am going to have fun, MY way.

You are welcome to suggest domain names, search terms to link to this ad campaign.

I will start work on this in the next couple of days, and probably have it all prepared and running by next weekend.

    Let the fun begin ;)

Also might suggest that if it is a complaint site about m.a. a link to http://content-of-oblivion.blogspot.com is almost a must

Thanks for the links, am familiar with the 2nd one, but no harm getting more links.

Good idea on the domain extension. I normally use godaddy / namecheap for my domains. I will check what extensions they sell / prices before deciding on one.

Well, he responded, saying he looking for grievances related to loot 2.0, but will nevertheless contact support and check.

I doubt this is going to help, since Dylan said he contacted support as well, and in the end I didnt even get a simple respond saying we are looking into it or anything. Anyway, started working on site. If no other changes, it will be hosted soon enough. :)
