Gold Rush 6/7 Event

Just encountered same issue as well.

Got a couple of screen shots and obviously all the stats shown after you exit the instance are wrong.

It got me thinking how such a mistake can happen....

Technically, you should have a structure / object / some other programmed "item" which is created each time someone new enters (instancing). After that, all things done in the instance should be only linked to the one individual entered (kills, time, dmg done, etc etc). I wonder how they have done this so that somehow multiple avatars are linked to one instancing object .....

To screw that up seems like a very basic mistake. Do it the way I stated above actually makes it impossible for such mistakes to happen. And this bug seems to have just appeared in this GR, so it was something they changed in the pass month. I wonder if the same will happen in the Caly event about to start. If it doesn't it will be odd, cos that will mean they have different instancing code running for Ark and Caly........

 

It's a recent platform change as stated and unfortunately arkadia devs are at the mercy of mindark to fix it.

Not sure mindark has much quality control. Don't worry though, they would definitely fix it before any calypso event...

 

Is anybody else having an issue with having more token points add up in there inventory but not show on the event mission tracker? This is currently now as i'm editing this post but will continue to run the event. Hope to have this issue resolved to show current looted points.

 

If you have other/old missions or other categories, points will go to those missions sometimes first. That's why it says to abandon them in big writing in the OP.

It's also possible that the tokens you are adding up are from previous months since they are the same tokens.

 

this is my first Event that i have participated in. plus i only have the one Mission.

 

It's weird but I dont recall any updates prior to the event in Caly going on currently, but I don't see anyone mentioning issues with the timer / seeing other player names in their instances / end run summaries being wrong.

Some seem to have a falling issue, which is different but they seem to have platforms / high walkways that GR doesnt have, so its understandable why that issue is not present in GR.

 

Had the same thing happen several times, strange bug seeing coloured dots in your instance!!

Thought I would try something different in event 6, so I did it twice just to see if was lucky in one of the 20hr runs.

Results much the same 11500 points from the first 20hrs, 10000 points from the second 20hrs.

For my efforts I got, 2 lots of evade, a few pills ..... and ofc an empty ped card, lol

I take my hat off to players who manage to get around 30000 points, each event
