because there wasn't anything for anyone to comment on. It was said in the rules (as i pointed out), that you had to remove the extra categories. Suspect coding, perhaps.. but this was addressed in the forums. You won't get compensated.
I respectfully disagree that it WAS NOT stated in the rules - it said not to take the 3/7 mission. No mention of other missions. I did not have the 3/7 mission. I believe I will not get compensated - but that doesn't mean I shouldn't get an official reply. I trust your reply, but someone from Ark should reply and/or reply to my submitted ticket imo.
Dylan, My final score in Cat 3 was 14,515, I believe in 26 or 28 hours. Even at 28 hours, my normalized score would be over 10K. Please see screenshot below. Can you advise how I was not included in the winners list? Regards, Dakin Garos
Have you check if you have abandoned previous gold rush missions like "Gold Rush Category 3 3/7" etc ?
Absolutely. 100% positive there were no other missions active. Checked, double checked, and triple checked because I am aware of the issues with that. What really sucks about it, is that there will be no response from mind ark. They collect collect and collect, and then completely ignore anything they do not want to deal with. Its a shame such a great game has such piss poor customer service. And piss poor is probably being too kind. )
I think you're a bit out of order making a statement like that. At least dakingaros has shown a screenshot of his score, although he's a bit hazy about the hours he spent in the instance.
This was the first Gold Rush I every played in, so I never had any other events picked up prior to 4/7 Gold Rush. There is no chance it's due to my picking up and forgetting to abandon a previous mission, since I never had it to begin with.
Still waiting on an update to the results, or at least how it was calculated so that it will explain why my score was not sufficient to win, considering the other scores that have been published. DYLAN, please get back to me with some news, I would appreciate it very much. Regards, Dakin
I am wondering why Calypso provides compensation in the form of additional rewards put out when there is a scoring mistake, and the winners are already announced. I know of one instance specifically from a recent event, and it was great they provided the appropriate reward to someone who definitely earned it, without taking away from the ones that had been announced. Why doens't Arkadia have the same policy? MA said n more than one support reply, that they have nothing to do with the event scoring, etc. But the reason I was told that nothing was done about this scoring problem in this event was that there was No Reply from MindArk, so It's a circular arguement you get into. I know its down the road from all of this, and I still don't expect it to be sorted properly, but I sure would like to know for the future how Arkadia will handle these sort of things. If Calypso can step up and fix their errors, certainly Arkadia should too.
