Dear Arkadians, Today I am having my worst day of my 32 years of life. Yesterday I made a massive mistake placing 1925 AUD for 68 peds in auction. This made me have loots of problems with my wife and family just because a silly mistake with our life savings. The buyer was Malcolm Pitbull Reynolds. If someone have any ideas how to keep in touch with him please let me know. I believe this is not something for the Arkadia team but for MindArk to solve. I don't want to discourage you, so I do want to let you know that the Arkadia team does read the forums, but I doubt they can do something for you. I have been following your topic on the matter on PCF, and a lot that has been said there is true. All trades are final, etc. etc. If there is a chance this can be solved by taking legal action then I would take the shot. Although I think that this would be most effective if that would be directed at said reseller, and might only be able to be used against MA as pressure to try and resolve it. In the end I think the reseller should take matters in his own hands and show that there are still good people around and give back what was lost. I want to wish you the best at resolving the issue. You are going through tough times here. You have lost something that you could work hard for IRL to earn back - and reading that it currently affects your marriage I feel for you. The loss of such an amount is hard on your family, but remember your family does not revolve around money - it revolves around love. Keep that in mind!

If worse comes to worse Swedish penal code chapter 9 in its entirety. Fraud and dishonesty. That being said. I do not know how this lawyer stuff works. Especially international. But in your PCF. Post people were claiming that no crime has been committed. My post was me trying to say "if Swedish legislation applies, a crime has in fact been committed" Lets hope it does not have to come to that
Wow, such a horrible mistake! (And not the first time it has happened with AUD/CLD either) I doubt there's anything the Arkadia company can do, as it's not them who stand behind the auction house system. Besides, deposits/withdrawals go through Mindark. Hope you manage to get in touch with the buyer, and that he'll do the right thing. If it's of any comfort: The AUDs are still ingame. IF the buyer resells them, it will still take 3-4 months for a withdrawal of the money. So, plenty of time for Mindark to take action (if they want, and legally can) Try to stay calm, positive, and hope for the best. Good luck!

Well, being Swedish and having some idea of how the police work (in terms of priority) I doubt this will be of any interest for the Swedish police to resolve. Sure, economic related crimes are ranked higher than many other crimes (which is bizarre) but I doubt anyone would take action. I do hope someone will because it's quite a lot of money we're talking about. Malcolm is a well-known trader and I do hope that he does the right thing and return the AUDs.
Pitbull already responded in Caly forum and I understand both the buyer and seller are in communication now. MA also seems to be involved as I understand Pitbull (the buyer's) account has been temporarily locked.
Malcom Pitbull Reynolds is a great player, i'm sure if you contact him in game, and I am pretty sure he'll return the deeds after a few weeks @ no charge(xD), but that's between you and him
MA really needs to address these issues... Until they do, I think the best advice is to withdraw anything from the game that you can't afford to lose.
Case is solved between Pitbull and Mary. Mary was happy to give finders fee to Pitbull. In what consist or in what amount is between them, they didn't revealed it.
A while a ago I wanted to buy out stone extractors from the auction, I was not paying attention and did not notice that there was no buy out set and accidentally went all in with 1900 ped on 30 peds extractors. I contacted the seller, but we kept missing each other due to time zone differences, in the end the person was nice enough to return my ped to me, but i gave him a 100 ped tip for being fair and honest. Your situation is slightly different, I hope both parties can come to an agreement and resolve it peacefully and in a timely manner.
I am very happy to say my problem has been resolved. The buyer of my deeds Pitbull made contact and with the help of Mindark as a mediator I got my deeds back, I know the law was not on my side here but Pitbull was happy to be the gentleman and help resolve the situation, as I said always I was happy to give Pitball a good gift which I hope he is satisfied with, this is between me and him so don't ask what I gave him please. Thank you for all the support all of you been great and please remember all trades are final maximum MA can do is try to help both parts. Big thank you Pitbull and every single of you.
