Hi I've watched some of the videos on YouTube made by Arkadians and I was wondering, how do you film your activities like that? I've tried to find info online, but I don't really know what I'm looking for so I'm now totally confused. Thanks!
Raptr includes a video capture capability called PlaysTV. I've accidentally used a couple of times. http://support.raptr.com/support/so...re-the-system-requirements-for-video-capture- http://plays.tv/ The other choice is an external capture that some of the streamers use which might be better if your system isn't powerful enough. http://heavy.com/games/2014/05/top-10-best-video-game-recorders-capture-devices-hd/ There's also some info on twitch http://help.twitch.tv/customer/portal/topics/358640-broadcast-hardware-and-software/articles
Thank you Spike, never heard of the external capabilities! This all is very interesting and I'm learning a lot. .....decisions......decisions......
MSI Afterburner https://gaming.msi.com/features/afterburner For monitoring your system and more. Video capture settings Simple for filming your globals, buffer can use RAM.
I used to have raptr (came free installed on my new PC) and found it a little bit annoying as it kept popping up messages and trying to make me use play tv all the time so uninstalled it
I think this guy used the two pc approach, one streaming with capture board and webcam and another running the game as his machine restarted thanks to windows 10 update. I turned off most the stuff in Raptr including the playtv, I accidentally recorded some stuff and used 30-40gb on crap. I only keep it around for my tag.
