    The following are changes that come with Planet Arkadia Update 2016.2. This information is provided, to the extent that the IFN and ACA are at liberty to discuss at this time. Log in today and check things out for yourself, to discover how the changes affect you!

    IFN & Herman Industries presents the all new A.N.U.B.I.S system available to everyone in the IFN with rank Sergeant or higher (higher level upgrades unlock at higher ranks). With this system you will be able to gain access and upgrade over 40 different versions of existing specialized Herman weapons, some examples of what is available:
    • Herman LAW-5 Arctic MK.I (L) - Increased Critical Damage 10%
    • Herman ASI-21 Jungle MK.I (L) - Focused Blow 1%
    • Herman ARK-54 Desert MK.I (L) - Skill Gain - BLP Weapons 10%

    And to keep it nice and clean with all the foot traffic the ACA have deployed a few sweepers to keep the area as clean in the future as it's been in the past. So please show respect for Vlad and Hitaishi, and keep out of their way.

    Missions Updates
    • Oratan Payback Mission II+, will now award you with daily skill gains
    • Monura Male and Female stage 2 will now also reward you with skill gains
    • Additional Oratan Payback missions is added
    Land Areas Renamed
    • Dark Knights Island is now known as Mutation Station
    • Arkadia Land Area 4 is now known as Sentosa's Reach

    • Oratan Payback Mission XII is fully functional
    • New Arrivals Hangar will issue a passport automatically to any new player who might still be missing theirs

    Known issues
    • Miner Pet animation still freezes sometimes.

    Another great dose of content by the Ark team. These weapon upgrades might stimulate miners and hunters to get busy again so they supply the weapon crafters.

    Generally good news, but kinda dislike the change to the daily missions... the rewawrd in UA was kinda a guarantee of breaking even (if playing eco), now it's just like hunting anything else...

    Someone should make a thread (which should become a sticky, obviously) about the new improved guns, sorted after level/type, with info on what buffs they provide.

    As I'm only on stage II on the payback mission, it means I can't contribute much in this regard..

    Do u get any extra TT on the weapon for all that ore and stuff, or do u just get a bad eco weapon?

    Very interesting.
    I assume only a selection from each series will be available for upgrading, and not every single ranged weapon? Hmm, remains to be seen I guess.
    No upgrade for melee? Maybe in the future then.

    That is intresting but..
    I still have issues with the icons in my inventory and storage.. first it looked ok so i sorted all stuff out again as i like to have them .. then i looked on a item info in first person and got a "foggy" area around me . Then i switch to window mode so i can get ET to work and all icons is screwed up again sigh...
    I wont play when i cant se what stuff i have so i stay away from EU a wile more and have a new look after next update.

    Not that i have any hopes realy lol

    Same issues here, and from what i see none of the weapons are UL :( no fixes to whats broken but depo for the new guns? been waiting 2 months to depo, well waiting to play really :( not very enjoyable when everythings all messed up :(

    No, TT of both guns is similar. For upgrade you will need to pay 7.5 PED TT Songkra Plating, this means about 8 PED with MU.
    8 PED = 16% additional MU for gun below.

    At first glance it doesn't look very attractive, because this is just a loss, in additional to MU of the crafted gun (24% in KikkiJikki Shop or about 10% market value). Do not forget 10% of the game taxes, and 50-80% crapnel in the hunting loot, and you'll understand what this means.

    It seems obvious to me that the intent was to improve the attractiveness of crafted items which kept losing out in competition with looted ones that had better economy. This was a long-standing complaint which has now been addressed, and in a laudible, constructive manner i.m.o. Taking away or reducing item loots instead would just have shifted discontent to the other side.

    I also like unlimited gear, but it can't come that cheap anymore without crashing everything built up over the years. Demanding this is a very self-centered view. Calypso is making new offers there based on reviving old-school gear, if you care to take a look. I'm sure the A-team has and takes a complementing approach rather than a "me too" style of competition. :thumbsup:

    This is going to be good for the MU of treasure. It will hopefully increase demand for the base weapons but I am reserving my judgement on that. Also good to see the link back to ifn rank requirements, adding some more incentive to continue the mission chain. I had stopped after reaching sergeant and now need to consider resuming progress. You know that most ubers and high level crafters won't have progressed very far. So there is an opportunity here for people who have put in the hours are now set to reap the potential rewards.
