We need more apartments

Its almost a year since i started playing EU and there were good and bad days but its how it works.The reason i made this post is to get at least an idea whether we will get more housings on this beautiful planet as we all know new players are joining day by day. We already knw that calypso has many housings for their residents and im asking where are the housings for arkadians?it is sad to see that only hand full of core cards on circulation and ppl hv stopped doing the instance bcos of the bad loot and even so there are only few buildings to be claimed with them.What i ask the devs is this...Are we not arkadians too? I started on ark and refuse to buy a apartment any where else cos i love arkadia too much.There are enough deeds on caly which sells around 300 - 500 ped and its about time arkadians get such low cost apartments.what is the point having mission trophies lying in my storage without having a place hang them.

Ark Devs please give the fellow arkadians more housings.

 

The reason for Caly's low prices is because of how MA flooded the market with so many low quality apartments. If you compare any of the apartments on Ark to the cheap ones on Caly, you'll see that the difference in price is justifiable. I think it'll be in the interest of everyone for the Ark team not to go down the same route MA did with Caly. Besides, housing is still being created and released according to the level of activity on the planet, as seen from the firebase and underground firebase(?) developments. Just be patient.

On caly are soo badly done why we only see few selling in AH?players dnt care much about the bugs cos devs cant fix them all at once and some are still there since the start.ppl who has a place dnt mind bugs or no bugs at least they have a place to call home.A massive game like this do hv bugs and so many errors i agree on that.Patience.....believe me i learnt alot from this game.how many core cards were in AH when the firebase apts were introduced?None.And how many cards u see in AH now?more than 10-15 cards.U knw what happend with the instances more than i do and only want to point out the ark devs that firebase apts shouldnt be the only places that should be looked in tnly pointing out the facts.Ark devs got the best minds so pls make this happen in the comming years.

 

Yeah, close to 2500 peds is a little much for an apartment but considering so few are ever put up for sale that seems to be the trend. Would be nice if there were other ways besides core cards to get one, like event prizes or even a few found in loot. I've been looking for one myself but refuse to pay those prices.

 

sorry i don't think so. it's just pixels without any use, but having a place to personalise and store your everyday crap. i wonder how you'd justify, that appartments on ark are already in the beginning like 10 times more expensive then those on caly back then (300 ped).

for several 100s of US$ i'd rather buy an UL gun or a decent fap. so, i'm sorry, but arkadia can keep their appartments and houses and whatever, i'm not interested anymore.

 

no more darn apartments... too confusing which floor you are on, and which side of the big buildings... better bet would be a tent city with a bunch of little estates instead of the big apartment complexes that clutter up Calypso... Ark has best furniture crafting capabilities. Integrate it in to that... craft a tent and put it on a small plot of land in the aud that you can get by trading in 6 aud. Just leave enough item points in there to house at least 2 shopkeepers.

 

Nice idea. i wonder how to hang my trophies there. lol.cĺaming a plot with deeds would be awsome as we all know ppl who cut the trees and taking them back caly for the plots that needs it.how did ark devs miss such a thing?if caly have plots why cant we have it on ark as well?all those nice landscapes on ark are perfect for them.well i can only wish devs even read these posts and let us know what they are going to do about it. im happy to see that there are ppl who loves ark shared their thoughts on this thread.thanks to all

 

You will find, once you've played EU long enough, that _all_ features available on Caly are in fact available to Arkadia... However, as has been pointed out in many other threads, MA are in charge of balancing Loot and so on. That actually has an impact / effect on Arkadia and all other Planets as well which you need to become aware of... The simple truth is as follows:

- Feature Availability is governed by PLAYER BASE on a given planet
- Feature Availability is governed by PLANET PARTNER interest / request

So the number of apartments available on Arkadia will be limited by MindArk to match a proportion of our player base.... But also by Arkadia Studios themselves, based on their plans for world development.

The fact that Apartments are in high demand here is a good sign in general.

If I were a betting girl, which I am not, then based on the planet setup and structure, I would expect next that in terms of apartments we might see some sort of Living quarters appearing in the Underground (carved into the rock walls perhaps?) and in perhaps both IFN areas and also smuggler areas if we get steady numbers of active players down there.

However, in terms of settlements on the surface, not sure we have enough capacity to justify more yet. Even if we do have loads of lovely scenic places to install them

 

More Apartments please no hoops just put them on auction.

 

There is a limit of apartments available set by MindArk based on the population of the planet. More population on Arkadia means more apartments (and other stuff like the unl herman guns) will become available.

 

hmm a tent city. Or how about bp's for tents so if we want a weekend camping out in a nice area just pitch up the tent and invite your friends. Then pack up and move on.

 

Provided you can prevent someone picking it all up and walking off with it.

It's a shame they can't just drop apartment buildings with 20 floors and 8 apartments like Caly could in the start. They've got whole buildings where none of the apartments were ever put on auction but MA have kept adding new ones like on Monria.

They should just add one a private one from the TPs that's personal for each player but not publicly accessible. Then allow people from you're friends list access it.

 

we got to wait cause of the dropships most likely. MA is probably spreading out new stuff for all planets
