Report to Assigned IFN Firebase

I also did not got it. Then on the first bugged VU, I logged in and then achievement pouped up without doing nothing, and I had finished the chan way back.

 

It should be in the IFN Terminal under Oratan Payback. It took me a while to find it, you'd think it would just pop up in your Mission Log once the 20 hours has expired but...

 

I just go to the terminal and scroll down until I see the green check mark for the payback mission. If I see the check mark I know its rdy for the day. If not then I just come back later. Tonight will be my day 6 of the first set. Cant wait for the promotion...

 

Lizzy, thanks for the vid. I have gone this far, got my access/ rank card and uniform and told to report to indomitable firebase. When I get there I get nothing. Mission is still open and no achievement for it. I can pick up the 100 Oratan mission from an IFN terminal (couldn't find one at the firebase) and abandon it and still nothing. Do I need to do this mission for the reporting mission to complete? Non of the NPC at indomitable will interact with me now.

Not sure if Im missing something or if there is a bug!

 

I'll try again; I did check three times or so... no dice. But, it's definitely not impossible that I've missed it. Thank you.

 

I think there is a bug because mine doesn't complete either. No matter, you can still carry on with the Daily missions. Perhaps at a later patch it will get fixed.....

 

I am unable to view the video at this time but wanted to ask what is the best area for the prospector thugs? I spent an hr last night in one area around the ketzel digsite and barely got 50/100 because there were more bandits and thieves than thugs...

 

Or you can go to the Smuggler Secret Hideout and barter your way into a special zone with what you need in mobs for arkoins.

 

Best place for Prospector Oratan punies is at Repulse Firebase on the road between RF and the RF Academy. There are two guys (officers)standing near TP and the one on the right is the timekeeper for the daily mission. When you complete the daily, he will have a blue exclamation point. After 20 hours has elapsed, the blue exclamation point is gone and you can access the next day's mission at the INF terminal there...assuming all is working as it should be. I haven't tried to access this mission anywhere else, so don't know if it's available at other terminals.

 

It is available at other IFN Terminals; I've tried 2 or 3 and found the mission in there after the right amount of time passed.

What Zrodian said; the easiest/quickest way to find it is to look for that green check mark.

You can find the mission at any IFN terminal. For me it's usually about 5 from the bottom.

 

Do you have to complete all the days consecutively? And my day counter is currently not working on part 2 for the Thugs.

 

No you can do them as slowly as you want but you can only go as fast as once every 20hrs.
From what I understand the counter will display correctly once you complete the level you were on when the VU/change was made.

 

Its just weird. Because last week on part 1 it showed the days. Now on part 2 its not showing the days... Make up your mind MA lol

 

Just to make sure I understand...
I was assigned to Defiant Firebase and have to kill 100 punies every day? ( im on day 2 only)
It the personnel officer supposed to interact with me after the first day?
The Smuggler took 160 Arkoins and didnt give me any mission, is that right?

 

You need to repeat the kill 100 puny mission 7 times to get a promotion and start killing Thugs to get another promotion... (all info in the Oratan Prospector thread). The officer won't interact with you, you should use any IFN terminal to get the daily missions.

As for the Smuggler: I haven't used him personally, but from what I know, you should have been given access to an instance. Taking Arkoins and doing nothing is definitely not ok, but maybe someone who actually used him will chime in and tell you how that works exactly.

 

Once you pay the Smuggler the Arkoins, he asks if you want to be transported to a secret Oratan camp. If he took your Arkoins and you weren't transported, you may have said NO, or there was some kind of bug and you should report it.

Just remember you need to pick up the Daily Mission at the IFN terminal (every day, 20 hours) or the Smuggler will not interact with you.

 

Talked to the smuggler today and after giving him the arkoins I was tp'd in.
