I'm not 100% this thread is being posted in the right section as I am new to the forums and fairly new to the game as well. But since I am looking to sell something this seemed like the logical place to post this. If it is not please do let me know, no worries :)

Anyway, I am currently sweating/hunting low level mobs in the game. Problem is I have two kids and a wife that make it a true pain to try to find someone to sell my sweat to. I am also interested in selling some of the leather, components, and stuff like that, that I have been looting off my kills. Anyone interested in those things I will be updating my thread with a list of what I have for sale every now and again. As for price, I'm willing to make a pretty good deal on whatever due to the convenience and moderate quantities, just don't try to rip me off :p

For now though if anyone is interested in utilizing me as their sweat farmer please let me know and we can work out a price that makes us both happy.

my in game name is Bella Bellalatrix Lestrange feel free to msg me in game too if ya like.

I am comfortable selling 1.5ped per 1k sweat if you come to me. I farm the starter area and until further notice anytime you see me on that is where I will be. I currently have 2k sweat. I'll be posting the rest of my items I spoke of earlier in the selling section once i get a chance to sit down and do so.

    happy hunting!

I'll be your constant buyer anytime especially for 1.5/k but I'll probably beat anyones price as long as its under 1.8/k (plz don't lie to me about the price). its hard enough buying sweat from loser that want 2/k

    Firstly: rather necro.

Secondly: just because you're only willing to pay under 1.8/k (for reselling purposes I assume?), does not make it ok in any way to call others, who are asking the common price of 2/k, 'losers'.
Everyone is free to buy and sell at the price they want: that does not make anybody better or worse than the other.

Many have consciously tried to keep the price on Ark steady at 2 ped, to give starters at least that as a basic income for their work. So there is nothing out of the ordinary if a sweater is asking 2 ped per 1k.

Name-calling is not very kind, and especially not if it's uncalled for.
Besides, the sweater today can be a big time hunter tomorrow. Who will they likely trade with at that time?

Hey shut up. I NEVER see people offering 2/k in chat and I don't even get responses when I sell for 1.9/k so whoever is trying to give people 2/k is sucking at their job. The people that won't sell for any less than the idiots that by from them are stupid as well. If people are offering 2/k to sell for why would I EVER buy from someone asking 2.3/k

You're gonna need a lot of luck to achieve anything anywhere if you don't get your attitude out of the way, man.

    Not the best reply.

I haven't found a Buyer, much less a Consistent Buyer, at 2P/K yet either, but your outburst was unwarranted.

There is ieme who does his thing, you need to take 5K of Sweat to him, he'll pay you 4P/K for that, 20 PED on one deal for you right there. But he will ONLY Buy 5K per Month from you, and 0K if you give an attitude.

Takes time, you have to develop RELATIONSHIPS... which your commotions here isn't doing.

Deep breath, calm down, and try again.

The name gottabecoolman, seems very out of place here, I will never sell sweat for under 2 ped/k, so I guess I'm a loser too. In your Sweat Trader post, I believe you are looking to sell at 2 Ped, so are you a loser too?. For somebody looking to form a business, its hard to believe your attitude.

    Uhm.

I just recently bought sweat at 3 ped per k.

The thing is though, no one is going to pay 2-3 ped per thousand to a reseller. No way. The reason for this is that people buying at such prices does so to support the sweaters. Sure, if I need any and see a known sweater sell it I might pay 2 ped per k. Most often I only need small amounts so I'll push some extra ped into the trade window at the time of the trade since it won't hurt me.

My suggestion for you gottabecoolman is to put some effort into researching the market you intend to trade in.

I.m.o. the trader is a somewhat thankless position since he always has to mediate between conflicting interests. Whenever I need something as either buyer or seller, I would always try to cut out the middle man as much as possible and only resort to traders if I find no other way. Nevertheless they are needed and have their place in all this. But it takes a certain personality to handle the conflicts of interest gracefully and build relationships that make customers on both sides return. Tbh I haven't met very many of those who feel themselves drawn to this profession whom I'd enjoy dealing with again. There is one well-known ore trader on Arkadia who gives an example of the positive exception. I would recommend anyone trying the same to learn from this person. But outright forget it if you have a chip on your shoulder. If your parents couldn't remove that you're in for learning it the hard way from feedback. (Not directed at OP in case there is any doubt ;)

Well, at least it brought (can bring a horse to water, can't make him drink) some solid information to a prospective young Trader. So it wasn't for not. Or is it naught? Ah well. :D

No I understand the system but people get mad at resellers for "lowering the price" when I cant even get buyers for 1.9/k

why is everyone so condescending and stuck up. you say you are for the lone sweater but those are the ones who don't know better. no one with any intelligence should waste their life away trying to sweat. Im just surprised there isn't one person out there that agrees with me

People are replying the way they are because you've been nothing but rude to anyone that posts a contrary opinion.

Calling people losers because they pay a little extra to sweaters to give them a head start and hopefully keep them in game longer and perhaps turn them into a depositing player isnt going to make you any friends.

Telling people to shut up for educating you on what you may not realise yet again is not going to make you any friends.

The regular long time depositing(or non depositing) players on Ark have been trying to keep the price of sweat up for a good reason yet you want to drive it down you so you can make a few ped regardless of whether its good for the game or not.Which if you think about it is pretty selfish wouldn't you say?

If you're gonna be rude and obnoxious it shouldnt come as a surprise to you that people react negatively.

There are people playing this game from all over the world with different economies and life styles which means different financial capabilities.
Not everyone has the means or ability to depo and are therefore stuck with no option but to make their way the hard way.
And they don't need you putting them down by saying they must have no intelligence if they chose to do so or by driving the price of their only means of income down just so you can make a buck.

EDIT: Sorry to the OP for dragging this topic in to the mud so I'll leave it there ;)
