    Mutated Oro

    Description:
Although relatively small, the Oro is quite prominent and distinctive due to the large crest upon its head.

Liberation Fleet scouts soon discovered the Oro was at its most dangerous in large numbers, or catching the casual colonist unaware. It has become one of Arkadia's most easly recognisable creatures.

This is a mutated variant of the Oro. This creature's vital statistics may differ considerably from its non-mutated relatives.

Have looted S&B Ardenner 16 (L), Melee Trauma Amplifier III (L), and Potted - Bynxia from these guys. Also, Alphas are worth 27 points and Old Alphas are worth 31 points

They also drop the ardenner 20 (limited).

Ben has looted ESIs from them.

Spawn is most likely to be removed upon acquiring the Kamaldon DNA due to low interest for the mob.

Well, if the spawn may not be around much linger, looks like it's time to farm those suckers soon.....

    Indeed.

Stage 6 will be fun once I get there. That's 6.00 PED of first aid for 1300 kills roughly. If I'd decide to farm it like crazy I could probably finish it 3-4 times a week and build up the paramedic profession quite fast.

Just need to get me an apartment to put the figurines in...

Thanks for posting those drops: they've been added to the Loot list.

And it seems a shame if they would disappear.
Wonder why there is low interest in them though. Or are they are as aggressive as their non-mutated brothers?

Not very aggressive and slowest mob on Ark. I think most ranged low/mid hunters could take them down before they reach them, and if they do reach you, the viceroy is well enough.

The problem might just be lack of advertising. This is a very easy mob with a decent chunk of HP which makes it a good mob for people who want swirls but might not enjoy the armor decay from low maturity oweko/riptor and other mobs at the same level.

Ah ok, that sounds better than I thought.
I didn't hunt them myself yet, because I figured they were too high in hp.
Plus, I remember the scare I got when I was attacked by an Oro for the first time, as a starter.
I was going for small Halix, but accidentally went to the wrong side of the road.
Before I knew it an Oro came charging at me from far away, and ended up killing me: so rude. [IMG]
So we started off on the wrong foot, and it never really got better.
Seems they are more agreeable in mutated form. [IMG]

It probably had bad experiences with humans :biggrin2: I finished half of my 400 mission with axe and knife, so we came charging at each other. Was quite fun really. Have yet to check out the mutations also, thanks for all the info.
