Ned...?

Last night down in the Au we were kicking some Oratans. With time, we decreased in numbers and IQ and had an increasingly hard time to take down the bigger ones. Out of nowhere, Ned pops up to help us out.

What happens next is that Ned tells us we have a choice; either we stick to the Oratans and waste ped since there were not enough of us and he did not intend to help out, or we move up to the a lot smaller smugglers.

The only rational thing to do in such an event is to attack the next immortal, underpowered so that's what happens.

What happens next is quite cool though; Ned jumps in, guess his heart is bigger than his gun, and helps out. All of a sudden everyone works together and makes a great effort and brings it down. Unfortunately, the loot was not all that great (fortunately I was restocking and missed a big chunk of the mob, was supposed to go to bed when I noticed Ned at revive).

With that said I wonder; Will there be more Oratans out there Tonight? Will such a team effort be displayed again?

And most important; Why is Ned helping us out? Not that I don't appreciate it (I do), but his incentives becomes vague. Was it a display of power? Does he pity IFN supporters? Are the Oratans our common enemy? Was this a sign of will to cooperate? Or was Ned just bored Saturday night and wanted to ATH?

So many questions....

 

Remember Ned was spraying a lot of champagne at the wedding earlier maybe he got trigger happy \ healer happy later on in the evening

He is unpredictable and a lovable Rogue maybe he is trying to turn IFN supporters ! ! I

Yes there are so many questions yet to be fully anwsered especially when one of his favorite words is MEH ! ! ! ! !

 

Good advice can come even from the bad guys.

Ned used to be one of us. I believe there is still a little love for us in his tiny crippled black(and red) heart.

 

Hmm...

During his next appearance, perhaps we should all stop shooting and love bomb him instead...?

 

I don't know if he can mentally handle that.

Yeah.... but "bad" is a relative term.... I for one could watch Calypso getting blown up by robots, happily eating popcorn. Sometimes there is a need for "bad" guys
