A level 50 pandi would not be equivalent. Take a look at the math done by Tamlin in the taming section at PCF.

The question is as you said, why? We don't know but would be interesting to know if it is the PPs own decisions or not.

Anyways, will be interesting to see the contributions, there are quite a few creative people in EU

 

Whatever... 50 was just an example... replace 50 with the correct number... just saying that if they would have wanted, they could have found an alternative.

Or another idea - instead of pets to have given as prizes some of those UL old whips, or some UL grooming brush or anything else pet related, but not biased towards a single planet.

 

That's a good idea.Some UL whips would have been really nice.

 

Just want to make a point that it the competition is been run by Entropia Universe.

In the Competition it is a Entropia Universe Wide Event and so any planet and any pet can enter this competition.

Possibly one of the reasons you see Calypso pets is its Easy for The Platform Owner to go to Planet Calypso Offices and seek approval ! ( they can probably do it at the same coffie machine ) In order to contact all of the Planet Partners - Planet Owners and then offer other prizes would take more organisation and time.

Yes the Platform Owner tends to Promote Planet Calypso - thats something that I dont necisserily agree with but it happens Also on the client loader when you check the credits - this really needs an update.




You Never Know The A-Team might want to run there own Arkadia events also when the gold starter packs came out
Arkadia Planet Ran an Event - And Planet paid for the prizes ! ! ! !

 

I´ve no fond memories of that event, made some serious scars...
