I'm a weirdo, I know. Still, please help. :)

    Hyellow! :)

I know, I know, I'm a total weirdo... and I honestly don't expect anyone to understand my reasons (and, in all honesty, you have all rights in the world to call me an idiot), still please try to accept my weirdness as a fact, don't judge (at least not here :p) and try to help me solve this problem of mine... take it as a mind exercise if you want. :)

So... the thing is that I have this self-imposed rule to never buy items that are achievable via in-game mechanics (as in looted or crafted). As in if I want such an item, I'll have to either wait 'till I can craft it myself or farm said mob 'till I'm lucky enough to get it to drop myself... and, obviously, both of these could take from years to never. :) Yes, that's not smart. I know it. Yes, that's weird. I know it. But it's my weirdness, I have my reasons for it, so please just accept it and let's move on. :)

The only exceptions (or cheats as a friends of mine insists to call me) are items that are no longer normally achievable via in-game mechanics (as in looted of crafted). For example, I was able to buy myself a S.I. HK-110, a S.I. H.E.A.R.T. (both no longer sellable) or a [Ukash VTOL Mk1 (L) (which comes from out of game purchase).

Now my question to you is this... what useful items (as in weapons, armor, vehicle, amplifiers, whatever) that fall under this category and which don't require selling a kidney IRL (as in any one-of-a-kind ancient weapons or fancy competition rewards costing thousands and thousands of PEDs) do you know?

Now don't think I only have in mind items costing a few PEDs, since I talk about long term plans, I guess that a few hundred PEDs, even around 1k PEDs, would be an acceptable price for the right item. :)

I thank you in advance from all my heart for all useful answers that will help me build a "buy list" for months/years to come. :)

    Cheers,
    Alex

Bukin's Blade and Labrys were my beginner melee combo. Works like a dream and I'm still keeping them for whenever some little critter decides to walk up and chew my shoe laces! And since Cyrene exists, S.I. Psy Blade, which is actually a power fist, is the most eco skilling tool of all. Killed plenty of Carabok and Caly punies with it, and will be back for more when I find the time to finish the top end ICs. Bukin's you get from a quick mission on Caly, but you still need some PED for repairing. I had lived under the same rule (part self-imposed, part rl circumstances) as you, but things did get a lot easier after I discovered a Ukash vendor in town where I could without bureaucratic hassle just buy me a little mental sanity for the change in my pocket every other week or so. It helps a great deal against weirdness spiraling out of control.

I have solomate opalo SGA available for sale. I think T2.x though I would need to check to confirm.
These used to be one of the most eco low lvl weapons in the game but those days are long gone. Current offerings from the tt are better. Still its a good tagger.

Let me know if you are interested.

I have a few others also (riker 2, korss H350, H400) but they would be outside your budget.

    - Go to http://www.entropedia.info/Chart.aspx?chart=Weapon
    - Under "Filter" from the dropdown list next to "Column:" choose "Hit Profession"
    - Next to the right, in the free text field after "=" enter a keyword which is contained in the hit profession of your chosen weapon class (e.g. "blp sniper", "swordsman" etc.)
    - Click "Ok". This way it shows you all relevant weapons, e.g. both longblades and axes if you choose swordsman, or both blp rifles and flamethrowers in the other example
    - Now under "Settings" above, check the box "Skill based" and enter your hit and damage profession levels in the adjacent fields
    - Click "Apply". You now see the stats at your skill.
    - In the main table, click on the "Dmg/PEC" header. This will sort the table so that the most eco items are on top, while the shiny non-sib stuff falls back to the bottom.
    - Click "All" under the table after the pager.
    - Go from the top down and choose the best you can find and afford. Some of them will be impossible to procure, but you should in most cases actually find something in the 2.9+ dmg/pec range.

    Cheers!

Labrys is UL? If yes where it comes from?

Bukin's Blade I have it - is a bit less eco than the TT options, but it is UL and it has higher DPS, so may be a better option when moving up a little bit (but still not much) from punnies.

About Solomate Opalo (SGA or not) - I have Z12 Barbarella from the shop package and, at least with my limited knowledge as a newbie, I can't see a single department where the Barbarella loses in front of the Solomate Opalo - better dpp and better dps for barbarella.

Also about the M2100 - I fail to see how it is better, if it is, please explain me. :)

Thank you for the full tutorial, but in my case problem was different - that I'm only looking for items which are not normally achievable via in-game mechanics, as looting and crafting. :)

Well oplao sga range is 63.8 which is good for tagging. I don't know the range of the barbarella. But I would agree that the older weapon does not match up to the eco of newer ones.

I have m2100 also but really it is only useful as a finisher and I am quite sure there are better finishers available.

The Falx was a TT item there, you are thinking of the Falcata. To be more specific it is UL and you get it from this part of the mission chain, it is meant to protect you from the cyclops': http://www.entropedia.info/Info.aspx?chart=Mission&name=Looking_at_distant_pasts

The free clothing item is delivered upon arrival and is the Chiton, there is also a semi hidden mission to get a blueprint for the Athenian Tunic, a C version of the item. I also recommend buying some sandals from the TT if you dont want to be barefoot.

It is not, but it's just cool to have, and I use it for puny's myself and tiering it for the hell of it. Because, why not? Same goes for me with the S.I.H.E.A.R.T. tier 3.6 and hopefully going up soon.

Ah, guess I skimmed over your post a little too fast. Well, in the database at Entropedia you can see on the right side under the column "Source" whether the item is crafted, looted, both or comes from TT or event. You can set one additional filter with the "+" button to display only one sort. And you can select the planet from the dropdown list on the left. That should pretty much narrow it down as much as you were asking.

When I hunted punies and the usual small mobs on Caly I often got Sollomate Rubio and Skildek Lancehead in the loot. They don't last very long and did not drop often enough to not need anything else, but it did help and they're fun (the Rubio is so fast, heck i'd love an unlim one; and I still have some of the rocket launchers in storage and occasionally use one for tagging). But this was some time ago and I don't know how it is now, or on Arkadia. During my time with the Carabok and other small Ark mobs I don't recall ever having had similar weapons drop. So I'm not sure if it's possible what you want, at least not from hunting.

Crafting is a lot more expensive to get started. I learned only after sinking way too much money into it that the QR of a blueprint is the driving factor for success after skill level taken into account. For any bp to become reliable and productive, you have to invest into bringing its qr up first.

You may like to try this:
    - Go to http://www.entropedia.info/Chart.aspx?chart=Blueprint
    - Filter Type "Weapons"
    - Select planet
    - Sort on column "Cost/M"
This shows you the blueprints which are cheapest to craft.

about Solomate Opalo an M2100 and "eco" thing

it is all other story and maybe need another topic , but just with few words ....
"eco" hunting (as 90% tt return) have 2 different ... how to say ... meanings .....
the main question is what "eco" mean for you ....
first meaning: you spend 1000 ped ammo (or 10k) ... do all calculation and see that some weaps are more "eco" then other ... and it is true
second meaning: you have 20 ped ... you go to hunt and get 15 ped of loot ... then you go to repair terminal and see that you must pay almost 3 ped (becuse your "eco" weap is totaly broken and can't shoot any more )... and you left with 12 ped for the next hunt ... do the rest matt ...
so for me "eco" is when I go to repair terminal and pay as less as posible for repairs (yes maybe this in a long run is bad ... yes maybe this weaps use more ammo .... and yes there is definitly more eco setups from the one that I use ... but for me ... I am happy when I see a small repair bills :) ...
so it is basicly to you to decide what weap you like to use and what "eco" mean for you :)

    With best regards
    OLD NICK

p.s.: for that magical 90% tt return (not sure if this % is the right one this days) .... spend 10k ped ammo (or better 100k ped) for one hunt and I am almost 90% sure that you will get 90% tt return :) ... this can't happen with 10 ped or 100 ped or maybe 1k

    p.s.:sorry for my bad english
