yeh was trying to get a video of it but need to drop my res down to get the flashers Would be cool if it was an automated procedure as well as my manual flying is rather bad but really neat feture on the planet landings also landing in the hangers and then using the hanger tp is so fun

In a way its kinda a throwback to the old CP/CND, every ship was assigned a hanger, except back then it was not optional since space travel was basically a teleport, no free flying. There was also like... a million fucking hangers back then, you had some walking to do.
Since some VU u lando over celeste harbour military HQ, and now with this feature if you choose to land on the assigned place the internal TP gets you straight to Military HQ TP
i used to do the asphalt-pizza-landing-sequence. as soon as i entered atmosphere jump out and get splattered on the ground with a revival only seconds away instead of flying slowly down for some time. then pay my taxi and move on but since hq revival was bugged it kinda was a nuisance and waste of time. nice addition but i guess for people not into spacetravel this is just that, an addition.
I saw it this week for the first time when Sally flew me back onto Arkadia lands. It is not a bad addition to the game.
Love it, but wish there was a way to get back into a hanger for take off. Hate trying to find clear spade to spawn ship.q
If you can use a TP to leave the hanger, surely its possible to TP back again? Or is it just one way? That seems like a very strange arrangement if so.
It's a one way TP. It's a red TP you click and without opening any windows you get teleported to the base below, to a normal TP.
What firebase has highest elevation? On Caly i take off from Athena and its quick to orbit. Hate long flight up to orbit every pec of fuel counts
To be honest I'm not sure what the highest point on Arkadia is, I would guess the snow area but I could be wrong there. I normally put up with finding a place to spawn my Quad in the interest of flying under the radar, I dont fly with loot, but ship decay is ship decay.
