    Hi Arkadians,

    Want to introduce you to a new system that has been implemented onto the forum. This is the new upgraded form of trophies.

    Now these trophies can be awarded by participating in certain actions on the forum, events in game and doing special things and being promoted.

    We will release new trophies / Awards for members to obtain and of course there will be limited addition trophies available for special events.

    Now here is a little break down of the awards available now.

    PLEASE NOTE
    These icons will be changed, these are only temporary Icons.    ​


    1. [​IMG] First Message
      Post a message somewhere on the site to receive this.

      Trophy points: 1

    2. [​IMG] Somebody Likes You
      Somebody out there liked one of your messages. Keep posting like that for more!

      Trophy points: 2

    3. [​IMG] Keeps Coming Back
      10 messages posted. You must like it here!

      Trophy points: 5

    4. [​IMG] Can't Stop!
      You've posted 100 messages. I hope this took you more than a day!

      Trophy points: 10

    5. [​IMG] I Like It a Lot
      Your messages have been liked 25 times.

      Trophy points: 10

    6. [​IMG] Seriously Likeable!
      Content you have posted has attracted 100 likes.

      Trophy points: 15

    7. [​IMG] Addicted
      1,000 messages? Impressive!

      Trophy points: 20

    8. [​IMG] Can't Get Enough of Your Stuff
      Your content has been liked 250 times.

      Trophy points: 20

    9. [​IMG] I LOVE IT!
      Content you have posted has attracted 500 likes.

    You will also note that there is a small change to your member card on the forum. It has a new way of showing off your awards.

    There is also a new status bar so that you can keep track of your awards. This bar will allow you to see if new awards have been released and which ones will be able to be purchased in the credits store (Coming Soon)

    You can go into your profile and select "Awards" and choose which ones you would like to show off on your Avatar card / Member Card.

    There is also a leader board that is implemented so you can see how you rank compared to other members.

    You can keep track of all the awards we have released here : Awards List

    So keep those posts coming and share your content. For what is to come, these points will be required to participate in other content and get special forum achievements and awards.

    I love the idea, but I dislike the implementation - already the mood buttons were too much, now with all that bling bling our avatars look like taken right from Hello Kitty - please replace them with some less obtrusive and more modern looking ones; optionally please add a setting for everyone to be able to have them as "not shown", just like signatures.

    Go to your profile, then click on "Awards" - You will be able to show or disable them from there.

    Blinky stuff is for children. Or very girly people. :p

    Update: In the profile section, clicking Awards, all boxes are unticked. If you tick them all they are set as Show, so you have to untick them all to get rid of the awards. Shouldn't some boxes be ticked by default when 3 of them shows initially?
    Not a big deal, just not logical.

    All icons including the mood indicators all have poor transparency. They have white borders that make them look very bad.

    The progress bars do not wrap well with the mobile theme. the advertising banner also has messed up the whole theme as it is not contained.

    Yeah, that was exactly my impression, that it was really amateurish... not to mention that animated gifs are sooooo last decade.

    Graphics aside (you people really hate shiny objects) there is one terrible technical issue, each time you open a forum topic every progress bar on the page slowly fills, this is for one pointless since most of the time you wont even see this before its done filling, and two highly inefficient, if you open a ton of topic in tabs like me I'm sure you will notice some chug.
