What a REALLY Great evening has been had on Planet Arkadia this evening in celebration of Jods Birthday.

3 Events were held and Random Prize Give Aways as well

Celebration at La6 at the end of the last event I have some videos that i need to sort out unfortunatly RL will take prioraty BIG style this week but wil try and get them up especially work hole ones and things.

I have a lot of people to thank but for the moment I feel like I've hosted a party for 100 and the last guest just left...I'll clean up in the morning...I'm wrecked and no doubt Lovefall is getting some well earned rest as well.

First things first ...So many people to thank!!

Many many thanks to the following...
Firstly Lovefall.
I could not have done it without her help,its as simple as that.The day would have been a mess if I didn't have her to help me out.
I had her jumping and tp'ing all over the place for hours and she did not complain or question once!
She was an absolute trooper and an invaluable help!
Thank you very much!!

Next To Aia
Life conspired against the wormhole guys I had set up-cant be helped,life is like that sometimes-So the first 2 events missed out but Aia came through at the final event (after jumping through 3 planets to get here with the chip!!)and made sure there were some wormholes for people to experience and also refused payment for all the ME used,and it uses a lot!

The final event was a real battle.A record for the number of globals on Songkra Valley in an event was broken by about the half way mark.I think it ended up at about 130ish? Thats a global every 30 seconds.Adi finally took it with a nice little 4 digit loot.Lazz only got his ticket at the last minute from me after all had sold out so well done for that

Grats to the winners and all those that took away the on the spot prizes!
There was a dozen vehicles,a couple dozen weapons,maybe a dozen Vault keys and various tools given away so I hope everybody got a little something out of the day.



So a final big thank you to everyone that entered the events and joined in on the fun in your own way.
It was a busy day but I had a great time and a lot of fun and really feel like I spent the day doing something!

I really felt the Arkadian/Entropian community today and it was special to be a part of

JOD, for me it was total fun to assist you with the event... not a single minute I seen it as a job (and that's also one of the main reasons I refused to keep the logistic gear as payment - hahaha), but just as a chance to have tons of fun, get to know new people, make new friends and generally participate to an absolute amazing event. It was, really, by far, the greatest experience I had in this game.

So really... you thanked us all... but the only (or at least main) person we should thank for is YOU... because it was your money, time and originality that made all these possible...

So, once again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOD AND MAY ALL OF YOUR DREAMS (BOTH IRL AND GAME ONES) COME TRUE!

It all looked awesome 2 bad I could only join in for like the last 10 minutes but I really enjoyed seeing how much fun everyone had
in the chats. I doubt this day will be matched any time soon by anyone Well done Jod, Lovefall and everyone else involved in setting this epic day up

As I said I barely got a pic all day,my view for most of the day was through a dozen or more PM windows

I wouldn't have changed a thing though!

I've been asked why I did it...(That in it self is a little sad that it had to be asked but I do understand it.)
Basically I see it like this....Dave and his team created the world but the community is up to us to create.
It really doesnt take much to bring everyone together instead of constantly competing against each other for a pec here and there.
I think its important to throw out the spreadsheet and forget all that for a day and just have some fun once in a while.

And the reward is completely worth it.
I absolutely got every pec worth out of it!

I encourage everyone no matter how rich poor or otherwise to have a go,dont be shy

I dont see why it can't be........

I look forward to the next person stepping up and sharing the fun :biggrin2:
