Stucked on planet Calypso, no means of going back home...

If anyone travelling back home (Arkadia) from Calypso and having spot for a space hitchhiker, please drop a line.

Willing to offer a (small) tip as my share on the costs of the trip.

did u do the s10 mission?
go and check out the icarus mission chain to get the blade and visit calypso gateway if you havent done these things.

Best place for getting a ride on Caly is Twin Peaks. You can generally find someone there willing to offer a lift. Make it one of your goals to get a sliep. It need not be full tt or very expensive.

 

A sleip is great for planet side due to the lower fuel cost, but you should really never take it to space, even if you follow safe flying practices it is so slow that you will get blasted constantly killing any money you saved by buying it. Quads are just as cheap these days due to the massive supply.

 

Yes, there's only one thing slower than a sliep in space and that's a MS or privateer on subwarp I was thinking of planet side use actually. It'd be a lot easier and faster getting those tp's for one thing.
