Shagadi Coast?
It would make a nice pair with Sonkra Valley.
Starting both with a "S" will make them listed next to each other on the map list.
(Inbetween Scrap Yard and Steadfast Firebase.)

 

Shagadi is not the winter area. That is the forest area. So it is out of place.

 

Its obviose you have la6 Songkra Valley so you rename la3 la6.1 so then you have la6 and la6.1

but on a more seriose note it might be worth checking out Earl Larson as he is in the snow region tannery and have something snow or mountain related.

 

How about:

Arctic Coast?
Arctic Toast?
Arctic Boats?

Okay.. maybe not the last two.

 

As there are digsites devoted to all sorts of big cats in the region, how about one for small cats? Say, Kitten Digsite or something along these lines... we don't have to run this by PCF moderators, do we?

 

Oops, I automatically looked at the LA6 area of the map, instead of the LA3 area.
In my mind 5$ & LA6 still go together.

Since a lot of the area and place names on Ark are existing rl names; perhaps that's a nice route to take?

It's a snowy mountain area; so what about the Himalayas, bordering the "roof of the world"?
E.g. the sacred mountain: Kang Rinpoche = (Precious) Snow Jewel
AKA Kailash, Meru or Sumeru mountain in the Ngari region of Tibet.

 

Dont think many people can appreciate exotic names like that, May. Not really many mountains on LA3. There are a few, but not many more than LA4.

 

How about Lynx Digsite?

Or Cougar Digsite? (I know this one is right up there with Frozen Beach and Frozen Balls)

Probably also too exotic, but still a name I like:
