Hey I am currently packing my bags on Caly to move to Arkadia in search for some new adventures and good times. Earlier I have only visited Ark for short periods of time and actually don't know much about the planet. I recently learned about the existence of Arkadia passports which if I understand correctly will grant you citizenship on Ark. Does the passport have any other purpose than granting you citizenship? I also read something about an IFN daily mission chain where you are assigned to a Fire Base and climb in ranks depending on how many missions you have completed (I guess). Does anyone have some more information regarding the IFN mission chain (not sure about the name), like goals, rewards and so on? Thanks in advance /Andy
You will need 10k of sweat to bribe the NPC at the new arrivals TP for your passport, currently its only purpose is being a requirement for starting the IFN mission chain. After you have your passport travel to the 8C's Windy Isles TP and talk to one of the soldiers there to begin the IFN mission chain, upon completion of the entire chain you will be assigned a Firebase, given a uniform, a access card, and a new Oratan Payback daily will appear in the IFN terminal, that daily will allow you to climb the ranks as you mention in your post.
If becoming a resident of Arkadia I strongly recommend checking this forum once or more times a day. Lots of useful info on missions, events etc as well as bug reports and work rounds. Arkadians also advertise their shops, services here as well as lists of items they wish to buy (very useful when you are getting low on ped) Unlike other forums it is about the community and not a constant bitch fest. So come enjoy a laid back and fun group of contributors/readers (and earn some forum credits too)

Welcome to your new home base. I don't know if you're 'importing' the sweat, but if you need to collect it locally: there regularly are sweat circles at Celeste Outpost and 8 Coins Windy Isle. If you somehow get stuck during the IFN missions; this thread might be helpful. Locations/info on the mobs can be found in the Creature threads. Thank you all for the replies and warm welcome even before I have arrived I do have the required amount of sweat on Caly but I don't think I'll bring it through space so I will most likely pay Celeste Outpost or Windy Isles a visit. Thanks again
Well, if you DO bring it along, Unless you're a massively skilled space fighter with a supercharged and hyper armed quad or own your own privateer, I would pay the cost of a ride on one of the motherships that make the round of the planets at various times of the day... That way you and all your stuff will arrive in one piece, hopefully, as opposed to what happened to me, when I tried to use my quad to relocate my "stuff" from caly to my new home on Ark. Got jumped by a pirate, died and lost everything I was moving to Ark... Pissed me off, and I'm STILL pissed about it... (Personally, I think lootable PVP Space is akin to MA being guilty of "accessory before the fact" to a case of "Grand Larceny" Or worse, it's like the cops are getting a cut of the goods stolen by thieves in the Real World. We don't put up with it in RL, but in here? Oh, it's just part of the game. and it SHOULDN'T be.)
Sorry to hear that you lost your stuff . I actually arrived at ARK last night and left the sweat on Caly. I know it's not worth much so it would'nt be a terrible loss if I was shot down but I hate the idea of loosing anything at all to a pirate. So I took the easy way out ant bought the sweat once I arrived . I noticed that you can loot or recieve Treasure maps as gifts (according to entropedia). I suppose you loot them from Treasure mining but how do you recieve them as gift? Is there a mission chain in which you recieve a treasure map?
I've got no idea on the treasure maps, as I've not gotten one yet. Either as loot or as a "gift"... some of the others on here HAVE gotten them, but not sure how they all got them. lol Gratz on your safe arrival, welcome to Arkadia, and enjoy!
They were gifted origenally as last years Christmas Gift to Arkadia players December 2013 depending on criteria you either got 1 or 2 maps depending if you were a depositor / non depositer / estate holder etc etc. This past year was smuggler plushies and smuggler special forces plushies Maps drop from Tresure Mining and also from quite a lot of the underground mobs or oratan drop them in loot they can then be taken to numerouse NPC's accross arkadia to be traded for underground vualt keys. you can also go to the Bar in the Celest Harbour area and he will guide you to the other NPC's.
the treasure maps somehow appeared in the inventory some time ago. back then there was no use to them yet. it was a bit of spoiler/preview from the A-Team. edit: too slow
