I haven't had time to do any of these for a few months, since the recent changes (individual mob loots etc). I did a couple today and noticed that the TT returns are way below what they were before. It appears on first glance that the Key TT is not returned at all in loot. I suspect there's supposed to be a box at the end of each instance containing ~ 20 ped loot for key 1, ~40 ped for key 2, ~60 ped for 3 etc... that would bring their TT returns to normal loot levels. Not sure how these boxes got left out but here's how the loot stands without them.
Key 3: Cost: 82 ped + 60 ped key Loot: 69 ped dmg/pec: 2.82 TT return not counting key: 84% Actual TT return: 48%
Key 2: Cost: 50.5 ped + 40 ped key Loot: 32 ped dmg/pec: 2.81 TT return not counting key: 63% Actual TT return: 35%
Key 2: looted an attack chip Cost: 49.3 ped + 40 ped key Loot: 49.8 ped dmg/pec: 2.87 TT return not counting key: 101% Actual TT return: 55.8%
I think with the low end keys so much of the potential is in the two big mobs that if they give crap you end up with terrible return.
And they give crap more often than not. Often just fragments or no loot at all... I find it extremely annoying that we now have to kill every single mob (in order to not miss out on any potential item or global) Not only are the returns far worse than they used to be, but the decay is also, naturally, 2-3 times more than what it used to back when you could skip lots of mobs.
And i thought returns couldn't get worse then before. Thanks for sharing Neil, hope you keep it up, and find some nice markup in there. I gave up on the instances a long time ago, after keeping track of my returns
Well, I said they could. So, I am not surprised by Neil's findings. I'll post my numbers post change soon.
So not only did they nerf the chests, the loot is even worse? It really sucks to believe that this was done at the same time the Gold Rush Auction, where only Arkoins can be used to purchase items, is going on. I don't mind paying to play the game, but getting blatantly robbed is another thing.
Key 9: (instance crashed part way through, key not yet refunded) Cost: 364.61 ped + 180 ped key Loot: 315.47 ped dmg/pec: unknown TT return not counting key: 86% Actual TT return: 58%
Key 1: Cost: 18.97 ped + 20 ped key Loot: 18.58 ped dmg/pec: 2.85 TT return not counting key: 98% Actual TT return: 47.7%
Yes, and I suspect that Mindark is pocketing all the TT value from the keys, because from what the A-team said, it sounds like they believed the key TT value would be included in loot.
I've decided to kill all mobs, since that's the proper way to see what the return of the instance really is and whether or not the key TT is somehow included in the individual mob loots. In the previous runs, I've only been going for the mobs that give GR coins. Key 2: 102 ped global on Dehera Brute boss, plus a couple other ~20 ped loots (an ubo and a defender) Cost: 67.29 ped + 40 ped key Loot: 214.15 ped dmg/pec: 2.77 TT return not counting key: 318% Actual TT return: 199.6%
Key 2: was encouraged by last run but the Boss only gave novas this time Cost: 69.45 ped + 40 ped key Loot: 33.47 ped dmg/pec: 2.73 TT return not counting key: 48% Actual TT return: 30.6%
Key 2: Cost: 68.81 ped + 40 ped key Loot: 48.35 ped dmg/pec: 2.90 TT return not counting key: 70% Actual TT return: 44.4%
How have your Arkoins been looting? The reason I ask is that I just completed door 5 wothout a single Arkoin. Others have experienced it (taco completed a 10 with about 65 Arkoins as I was asking about it in chat) Just wondering if you've noticed any consistency in how they are dropping.
