8 months since I started to play this game, saw some changes, some good, some not really. So I putted together a little wishlist of a few things that is really bothering. 1-Give us back the ability to shrink progress bar, that big thing with their huge icons sometimes keeps on the way. Close the bar would you say, but yes I also like to keep track of my progress and would be very boring closing and openning it all time 2-Really this is listed as number 2 but I would put on top priority list. Please unmix the tameable spawns on Relentless firebase academy. I don't like pets, that might be my loss, but that doesn't mean they should be everywhere, you can't hunt zaduls / halix or even mine without at least 10 of them aggroing on you, and then goes a waste of ammo to get rid of a mob that isn't even among their kind. 3-Give us specific location for the various oratan prospector maturities, like you did with punies, you give a specific base for one maturity and have like 3 or 4 of other maturities among them, is really annoying waste 10 or more ped ammo, and be more than an hour hunting specific maturity, some of us don't have ped enough to kill all of them regardless of maturity, or change the way mission works, like kill 100 / 200/ 500 regardless the maturity 4-Give us the ability to turn on or off landareas notifications, we just need to see that once, map is already marked green so why we need that spam all time we enter a managed land area? 5-Sweat is in high demmand on ark, so what about a VSE MK1 tool amp? Hopping comments and contributions to make this wishlist better and provide our devs some feedback on what we expect to this year, thanks for reading.
Ok I'll play.... I'll just comment on the ones that affect me...( I may have to play devils advocate a little-not discounting your wishes though-Its your wishlist after all) 2. Finding a tamable mob required a little running around but mostly this doesnt affect my game play so all I will say on it is we must be careful of having everything so easily spoon fed to us.It shortens the life of the game as the challenges are too simplified and completed too quickly then its back to the mindless grind till the Ark team can come up with something new. This obviously increases the pressure on the Ark team-not necessarily a bad thing but there is a limit. 3.For this one I would leave the spawns as is and make the other types count for a seperate puny mission. Otherwise it's back to point 2. Now dont get me wrong on this one I'd love to be able to blast through my daily IFN mission in 10 minutes stress free but again it gets back to the spoon feeding. I dont think this type of mission is supposed to be easy all the way through and yes I do feel the frustration as well but if you look at it like training then the situation as it is now will teach a new player more about spawns/re-spawns and how they work then a one mob/maturity spawn all laid out like a picnic. I know that sounds a little like I'm saying "screw you noob!! Get some skillzzz!!" but I'm not I just feel it teaches a new player better as it is. At the very least for this all the 'by-catch' should count as part of a puny mission,I'd feel a lot better about having to clear an entire spawn if I knew every mob counted for something. 4. OMG yes!! Please!! I'm actually begging on this one. Wishlists and suggestions/discussions are important for an evolving MMO like we have here and I always say if its not the way you like it then suggest something. A couple things I would like...(probably more on MA side) 1.Make shrapnel usable to increase melee TT somehow. 2.Make the item links in chat display the actual item linked with all attachments and tiers instead of just a generic info screen,Saves having to actually put something in a trade window see it as it actually is. 3.Get rid of missed shots!! They are a redundant relic of turn based games and add neither realism or immersion but only frustration.
Following on from Jod's bottom point, I would like the ability to link items by typing their name in chat, instead of actually copying a link from an item. For example, I should be able to type 'Shrapnel' and it be linked to the item. This may be possible already but I cant get it to work if it is.
Oh yeah I have forgotten about this. Sometimes we loose connection due client crashes or isp downtime, I would like to recover links of itens just by copying chat logs..
Just create new note (in game of course) and copy your message there. All links will be saved there "forever", so you don't need to retype it again, just Copy+Paste it from there after relog.
Other mobs that could use a bit of hit-box improvement: Pandi, Dromia, Arkadian Hornet and Feran. (Not talking about some mobs that only show half and can't be targeted. That's probably another issue?) Hehe, unless you have like me, the content from the first note randomly deleted after crashing.
Persistent way points, so you can mark your map up with points of interest (interest to you) and they remain there when you relog.
When I started this game only mobs like ostelok and gallard I had an issue playing on 3rd person view, like have to face the mob to don't have that annyoing message, failed to interact whatever. Now every single mob is like that since last VU (reversal would be good)
Yep, "sticky notes" ("Post-It") in game since chat/CL VU. You can create it from "Message Center" (open "Message Center" -> Create new message -> Sticky note).
And after a server restart/maintenance/VU I also have listed messages appearing/disappearing randomly. Guess I'm just 'lucky' with a wonky Message Center. Another one for the list: adding Trophy Head rewards for the newest mobs in the next/some VU might be nice? Btw, vaguely OT: since a maintenance, I don't see the advertising banners anymore on the CL. No idea if that's general, or if it's my settings?
dont see em either. i guess it´s more like a MA thingy but i would like to have TT value shown when hovering over an item/stack in inventory/loot window. the amount is shown but to see actual TT would be a neat addition to it.
