Can anyone answer does the loot distribution change like what calypso received in last VU apply to Arkadia now?

I'm now a citizen of planet arkadia since I got arkadian passport. But what will this allow me to do in the future? Also I was born on calypso - will this change my place of "birth" to Planet Arkadia thus giving 25-50% of my deposits to you guys and the rest to Mindark?

Can you tell, please how/where you got it? I seen it in new items, but didn't found any info about it on forum.

I thought it from NPE mission chain, but it's now only for Arkadia players, so since you born on Calypso it can't be from there. :)

This is good news but if they dump crap loads during the shared loot mob events it will be bogus :( I hate how they dump most all the items in those events to the ubers more then others that spend their fair share in them. I personally stopped doing any public shared loot events unless a small team are only ones there and share the pool, because I can't even come close to competing with the ubers damage to attempt to get item drops and do not want to keep dumping excess amount of PED into them to eventually maybe someday get an item that really can't cover the losses.

I do hope they stay in normal loot or a larger portion stay in normal loot and the drop rate stays low to make them rare and they make only so many ever in game to make them a collectable. Also tieing them to RL numbered collector card would be awesome.

I am curious: were the cards supposed to be this rare, and can all cards drop from crafting, or do i have to do other activities for specific cards?

Looks like the trading cards are 0.001 PEC TT value. Why did you choose to do that? It makes it really annoying to see market values at a glance. It would be better if you made them at least 1 PEC. 1 PED would be even better. When they're dropping in loot anyway, rather than being given out as freebies, I can't see any reason to give them only the nominal TT value.

Thanks for the answers: really too bad about the chests, but what's not possible is not possible.
At least it's nice to have the confirmation that the items drops remain the same.
Hehe, I actually thought that the booth would be a place where Advisers could sit, so starters could find one to talk to.
(Like before there were people crafting there, to say hi and talk to newcomers.)
I was already wondering how people would have time to sit there, if there wasn't a crafting terminal.
But it turns out it's a NPC, lol. That's more practical. [IMG]
Ah, so this is the first VU where the results of the full new team can be seen.
I thought that putting all new content together, would leave very few for the next VU.
But it seems the A-team is more productive than expected.
Awesome: you guys did a great job, it's a very interesting update.
I like the little details, like the Aakas center statue and the crane in the NPE, and how you can walk on the tents at Valiant. (There is a grill that has an 'operation' tag for future use: I'm curious to find out what that's for.) [IMG]

Absolutely terrible yeah, but you can also hit the tail.

I dont mind the new shared loot in arkaas but there are 3 issues.
First the low lvl low hp mobs like the grasshopper, worm and magurg in high lvl instance are very bad. I had good multiplier twice on these guys and ended up with a bad return overall. So if shared loot were to stay, shouldnt these mobs scale up in maturity with the rest of the instance mobs or be replace with sentinel/paladin etc? It is kind of like you went to hunt scoria but you're forced to kill halix young along the way.. just my analogy.
2nd, it was mention that the instance have the same chance to loot the rare so does it mean the 30hpp mob is able to loot dune rider/ dark knight?
3rd, the tp is not showing on safe mode or low graphic setting so it's hard to find where to click. Maybe turn it into a gateway that you pass through and instantly tp to new area?

4th - as all instance mobs have shared loot, means no fame for whoever gets globals now unless this player gets rare/new item (dunno if its even bad or good)

That applies only to the missions:
I've talked to people who started the NPE missions before the VU, and they could continue them, no matter where they were born.
From the people who started them after the VU: only those Arkadian born were able to do them.

01:23:03[Arkadia Official Dylan] Cards will drop in all professions

I actually like it that there is a possibility for lower levels to do an instance too.
The Vaults are very hard to solo for them, as the mobs literally 'mob' you in those small rooms.
And the lowest mobs already have too much hp for beginners to handle.
So Aakas 1 is a nice way to have instances available to all players. Besides, there are 10 keys/levels.
(Though practically it might be handier to switch that around (making Vault 1 easier than Aakas 1), because of the TT price of the keys.)
Guess there is about as much chance to loot a dune rider/ dark knight from Aakas 1 now, as there was before. Slim to none? [IMG]
See the Aakas Instance televator thread.
Yeah, being mentioned in the globals was nice advertising for Aakas.
Now people are looking for the specific mob that globalled, without realizing that it's in Aakas.

Btw, sorry for the long unnecessary post: result of being unable to get in-game atm. [IMG]

erf; so now, low level aakas will become even more loosy^^
even if total loot value is preserved, it will be splitted by the number of mob present in the instance, so no more interesting items at the end :/
Aakas is now the same as a hunt, but in a instancied location :(, with no more "magic instant" when you are in front of the chest at the end of it :'(

If someone want to hunt low lvl instance then they can do the early keys. Because that the instances became normal hunting from the loot change, the hp scale for all mobs in higher instances (key 7-10) need to scale up. Your loot swing can be huge when you keep going from 1-2k hp to 30hp.

of course yes, but i talk about low level instances only, cause some player don't have required level and gear to do higher level ones, and don't have the money to do them too^^
so for Mid-high lev player, it can be good, but for low level player, it's a little shame^^
but the more important for me, s the loss of the chest, a real victory symbol, the objective of finishing the instance, the reward you have worked for^^ and pleasure to see if you have looted just some crap stuff or made a big Glob/hof :)
