I am completely disagree with you. The beginner should be able to choose, he now has the opportunity for only one extra ped to get what would have to pay a minimum of 7 +7 +7 = 21 PED, or thereabouts. Some players (as I understand it is not you) do not want to deposit, and if I had the opportunity to offer beginners stuff from TT with the MU in 1 PEC, or 10 PEC, instead of 1 PED, I would do it just for they went into my Shop and maybe buy something else. Not every player in EU can deposit. Adventure, as you said, is not for beginners!

It's your own affair, and does not have no relation to the subject of thread, and irrelevant to me ;)

Shop owners have the option to have their exteriors redesigned and 2 or 3 owners have already taken advantage of this. There are more on the way but I guess it will be next content release since there are limitations on when the devs can introduce changes.

However there are limitations on what we can have done. That windy entrance is a performance optimisation thing I think. And I have had to abandon my plans to have items displayed behind glass after discussions with the devs. I won't go into the details except to say I understand the dev's concerns.

Good luck in your quest to invest in a shop somewhere. Hopefully it will be on Arkadia. I note there are 12 new booths in the Arkadian Underground, though it's not clear when they will become available for use.

    Regards,

Interesting, that's something I've been wondering for a while. Since I'm relatively new to the game, this is an aspect I've been wanting to collect some detailed data. Things such as:

    -where I get shopkeeper pads?
    -where I get shopkeepers?
-can I place them wherever I want?
    -any tax for placing shops?

I think this specific topic deserves a full tutorial about it. Seems in my point of view more profitalble place stuff there than auction.

They're looted from creatures, usually mobs over 500 hp, but they're rare... normally you get them from auction or other players. Shopkeepers are the same as shopkeeper pads. You can place them inside any estate you own, so an apartment, shop or booth. There is no tax for placing shopkeepers, though there is a fee for selling items (i think around 23 pecs per 10 ped MU).

    With regard to taxes...

Standard shop sales tax applies. This is 2.5% of the MU and is paid to the estate owner. Thats usually the planet partner, or the land owner depending on where your shop or apartment is located. The tax amount is added onto the sales price you set. So keep that in mind when you are setting prices.

Additionally shopkeepers decay with each sale. I haven't tracked the decay but I believe I saw 1 pec/sale quoted in a different thread.

Shopkeepers decay - 10 PEC per sale.

BTW there are some new shops, I think it was at Paint Factory. I really like the layout there, simple but effective, shops around the TP, close.

Number of shops/estates list Arkadia Estate Manager as the owner. How do you contact them?
