so im actually a miner by profession but i dont like using vehicles while i mine so ive decided to skill agility and keep track of my skill gains and my kill gains or losses ill be skilling till on caraboks till about level 69 agility or until the agility gain is less then 1 point a week after that point ill start questing for now ill update every time i gain an agility point but heres a spreadsheet that logs each run https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZTwwZvZhyxFqJeTDf4P-etiBVTDsyojoaDxwjiQNh0o/edit#gid=782076856 onto the format total tt put in (decay and ammunition) tt return before mu tt return after mu return % net return tt net return % net return after mu
almost forgot i had this thread typed out first run went surprisingly well, fast profitable and modest skill gains. total tt put in (decay and ammunition) 17 tt return before mu 20.41 tt return after mu 21.6 return 127% return net return tt 20.41 net return percent 120% net return percent after mu 127% return agility level before 38.52 agility level after 39.16 total agility gained 0.64
didn't think i would be skilling up this fast honestly i thought 2 levels a week would be good total tt put in (decay and ammunition) 17 tt return before mu 17.42 tt return after mu 17.72 return 104% return net cost 68 net return tt 64.93 net return after mu 66.59 net return percent after mu 97.92% agility level before 39.16 agility level after 40.37 total agility gained 1.21
going to take a break really fast stretch eat etc a little info im using the S.I Psy-blade damage range 2-4 decay .97 ill try to do 5-10 runs a day im thinking i need to do 200 runs or 3400 ped cycled to get pretty close to my 69 goal after that ill run to next island and begin the quest chains that give agility
u know the attribute skill gains decrease ALOT the higher u go.. 3400ped is not gonna get u even close to that goal
i just need to get close, even 60 will do quests will handle the rest a rough calculations of the all quests that give agility turn out to be 31.45 points and cost a whooping 1,850,000 million ped cycled to complete skipping the most expensive/ lest efficient ones 650k for about 25 points back to hunting btw will post total agility points gained when i head to bed
tt put in this run (decay and ammunition) 17 tt return before mu 20.49 tt return after mu 21.19 return 124.64% return net cost 102 net return tt 101.49 net return after mu 104.34 net return percent after mu 102.29% agility level before 40.7 agility level after 40.94 agility gained this run +0.24 total agility gained 2.42
im going to pepper in some mining so i dont lose my mind i think ill shoot for 10 cycles a week well that was a pleasant surprise what i thought was a loss was infact a profit tt put in this run (decay and ammunition) 17 tt return before mu 18.5 tt return after mu 19.65 return 115.58% return net cost 119 net return tt 119.63 net return after mu 123.16 net return percent after mu 103.49% agility level before 40.94 agility level after 41.41 agility gained this run +0.47 total agility gained 2.89
Nice progress. I'd also like to mention that if you change your text color from white to "none" then everyone will be able to read your posts, not just those using a black background. (There is a button in the upper left corner of the edit window for removing formatting.)
because i have classes in a few hours im not going to hunt but i am going to go to LA area 1 and let the mobs hit me in the face until i have to leave in about an hour current agility 41.41 agility after the hour 41.45
thanks for the info that also fixed a problem with a few of my numbers jumping to the side now does the formating stay off or do i have to disable it each post ?
The gain is not linear. The first 30-40 points of agility are gained quite fast, essentially as a compensation for the fact that new people now start with 1 in attributes instead of 20, but then it slows down tremendously. Eventually, getting a point will cost you as much efforts as all the previous points together, and that's only beginning. In fact, that applies to all skills, not just attributes. I started with agility 20 and it took me over 4 years of everyday hunting to get to 70.
tt put in this run (decay and ammunition) 34 tt return before mu 27.52 tt return after mu 28.6 return 84.11% return net cost 153 net return tt 147.15 net return after mu 152.82 net return percent after mu 99.88% agility level before 41.41 agility level after 42.08 agility gained this run +0.67 total agility gained 3.56
Agility is cool! So, the plan is to skill up to 69 AGI naturally and get the rest from the missions? This plan looks OK on the paper. Keep in mind however that some missions on this list are very costly for even a good medium level player. Then again, at lvl 69 AGI is still rising (relatively) fast and by the time u have finished the easiest 20 missions AGI most likely already has reached lvl 80 (or at least you will be very close to it), so u won't actually need all 30 anyway. (Goes without saying it only works if all AGI tokens are saved up until the end)
i created a cost of each mission per agility point and added it to the log im keeping total cost for all the quests 1,269,172.3 ped skipping the most expensive quests about 500k for 25 points
tt put in this run (decay and ammunition) 17 tt return before mu 12.35 tt return after mu 12.51 return 73.58% return net cost 153 net return tt 147.15 net return after mu 152.82 net return percent after mu 99.88% agility level before 42.08 agility level after 42.34 agility gained this run +0.26 total agility gained 3.56
Highly recommend you save them up until you reach 75 agility thus 25 extra points later you reach lvl 100. Odds are by the time u do all those agility missions you are near there or even passed it. Keep in mind after 50 agility huge nerf, after 60 even bigger and so on. Basically the skill progress in EU goes up exponentially every 10 lvls or so. That includes all skills. So going from 40-50 is like going from 1-40 (probably more). But this skilling you're doing is the most eco and efficient way of skilling for agility imo, so keep at it. You'll get there eventually.
