Interesting public chat groups

heya,

I just started to play again and this is my first real look at the "new" chat system (I did just look at it briefly when it came out). Are there any interesting public chat rooms? Do people use the possibility to create chat rooms a lot? or its something everyone has already forgotten about it?

 

/listchannels a : show all public channels with an "a" in the name
/listchannels b : etc

 

many created chats here since new chat UI , but example of Global and Universal ...none use them all chats on Rookie cause its default channel

i got atm 16 created channles in ,but on 7 of them none writes single word in last week ..except ups wrong chat

 

That doesn't really tell you anything.

 

It tells u all the public chat rooms

 

I was looking for info if there are any useful, interesting chat rooms and whether people use the system or not. A list of channels gives no such info. Most of those listed could be dead, names also do not give any info whatsoever.

T79x answered with somewhat what I was looking for. And it seems people aren't using the system that much, unfortunately.

 

I use it all the time to communicate with my miners. Also the planet channels are very useful.

 

Ok, so you have your special group - thats great that it has some benefits. What are these planet channels you speak of?

 

I think every planet have one:
#arkadia
#calypso
#rocktropia
#cyrene
#tulan

and then there are underchannels u can se if u do the /listchannels command
dont know how used they are tho, I only got Ark and Caly myself.

There are also some country channels like #Sverige #Norge #USA #Canada

 

actually it's #toulan and don't forget #NextIsland.
