I haven't been on Arkadia yet, but have bought a few underground deeds off of Calypso's auction. To avoid the auction costs, I'm thinking about going to Ark and buying more deeds direct from the broker, but if there's hundreds of avatars there sitting at the broker doing the same thing, I'm not sure I want to do it if it's lag city there. How laggy is the area where the broker is? If it's really bad, does the A team plan on putting up brokers in more than one location to help lower the server load?

I've visited the Underground a few times after the initial rush, and it's been pretty calm. There's usually no more than a few people at the main tp, and everything loads up just fine.

Don't think you need to worry about lag, was just there TPed down from Quarry which was ~45fps at this time, down into the underground and the fps bumped up to ~86 fps and everything loaded quickly and broker didn't seem to lag either.
And while I been running around down in the underground the fps always been 80+ so it's not a lot of unoptimized textures as it can be elsewhere in the universe

Radar showed around half to 2/3 the people down at the broker as was in Quarry

basically what Medeina says, since the initial rush, it´s been pretty smooth, even though the deeds run out from time to time! :)

From what we've seen so far... they only seem to run out when MA is out of the office, so someone there must have to manually feed it. So avoid 4 am sunday morning sweden time.

I bought deeds 3,4 times over the pass couple of days from the broker.

No issues at all. Rarely saw more then 5 people at the broker, no lag.
