I was wondering the same thing. Personally it was the first thing I turned off but now it automatically turns itself back on next login. The other thing I did was to firewall the service so that it can't get out on the net. Not having it working for me is not a problem, it can stay that way.
I had it on for about a day when I was new and it was someone raging some drama so I turned it off and haven't turned it back on again. Would be nice if voice came automatically with teams, I'd use it then.
proximity chat, sure close it down but I thought you meant really use the chat like in the premium accounts for teams or calling up some friends. Proximity chat I doubt anyone use for something usefull
What really turned me against stuff like voice chat was when I was playing UT and some joined the server I was on calling themselves Adrian. It wasn't the name Adrian I had issue with it was next 2 hours of bad Rocky impressions.
Ha ha, that made me Laugh Out Loud! Not laughing because you got bothered by a troll, but because of the very good punchline. View attachment 9193 ps. I never use voice chat myself; I'd rather see a smooth running UI, than any old voice chat.
