Arkadia Underground


Ever wanted to share in the growth of Arkadia?

Participants of Entropia Universe are being given an opportunity to acquire Arkadia Underground Deeds at a fixed listing value of 50 PED per deed.


A total of 200,000 deeds are being made available which equals 100% of the Land Area. The area will be managed by Arkadia Studios and a new subforum for Arkadia Underground discussions will be created at Planet Arkadia Forum.


Starting today, batches of deeds will be released via the Arkadian Auction.
Included with the patch due next week, a broker will be located at the Arkadian Underground teleporter that will sell individual deeds allowing participants to purchase the exact number they want.


Tax revenue from the Land Area 'Arkadia Underground' will be distributed automatically to deed holders on a weekly basis via the PED flow centre. The Arkadia Underground will have a fixed tax percentage of 5%.


Arkadia Underground offers something for everyone, new unique mobs (Navi, Wombana and Togolossi), 64 sq km's of caverns to explore, hunt and mine. Mining in Arkadia Underground utilizes the Indoor mining logic as previously experienced by participants on Calypso’s FOMA and Rocktropia’s HELL areas. Vehicles are also usable throughout the Underground area.


Entrances to mysterious Ancient Arkadian Vaults are also located throughout this new area.

• Arkadia Underground is here! Access is via the TP network on Arkadia, select "Arkadia Underground" from the drop down list at any Arkadia surface teleporter.
• Arkadia Underground Deeds will be available from the Arkadian auction and from a broker next to the main Arkadia Underground teleporter (after the patch next week).

Oratan Red alert event system improvements

Bug Fixes and improvements

• Various bug fixes and improvements have been made.
• A rare issue that can cause a player to get stuck in the Aakas instances have been fixed.
• The droopy eye issue on Arkadia armours has been fixed.
• Various missing resources that are needed, have been added, example: Copper, Quantium

General notes

• Missions for the creatures found within Arkadia underground will be available following the patch next week.
• The Treasure maps previously distributed to participants will be enabled in the patch next week

Known Issues

• Liakon \ Koroma female currently has a small gap on the neck from fixing the eye issue.

Wow! But we still cannot log in, what about situation with totally buying deeds by speculators? Any protection from that?

 

Yeah its getting anoying. Haha I wouldnt be suprised if when this is launched MA locks us out again and some random lv 1 buys everything the first minute rofl

well that is great news - it seems minor but I know it annoys the hell out of ppl including me.
Plus Ark underground - now I cant wait to get back home and log on

Agree to the droopy eye thingie. Im not sure MA realises how much things like this disturbs the game long run. Same with sitting and laying down imo. Good looks good movment brings depth sorta. Well overdue that was and glad it got fixed.

 

Been looking forward to the underground for a long time Shame about the 5% tax and at 10 million ped it sounds overpriced to me.

Looks like this will create a big influx of arkadian ores/treasures to crash the already delicate market. We need some good new skilling bps in all areas to mop up these ores. BPs with 5+ materials, that cost 20-30ped a click are no good - we need bps with 2 or 3 materials and sensible cost per click like the jester prints from caly only using arkadian ores/treasure. It doesn't matter if they make crap weapons/tools/armour, the aim is to get crafters clicking the ores. As an incentive to click, you also need to create some nice limited prints for limited items and even a few uber rare L prints that will make U items.

 

Sounds about right to me. Although I cannot get in game atm (GC holder), I read the story arc, and it seems like the Arkadia Underground is similar to FOMA and HELL. The story indicates many different caverns, which, I assume has or will have different mobs/maturities or, in some cases, no mobs at all. The mining also is the same as on FOMA or HELL, in that the claims are fewer, but tend to be bigger. So, 10 million peds for an area that has multiple LA's and similar game design as FOMA seems like a deal.

I mean, heck, Caly sold 6 million USD worth of CLD's, which are very passive in their earning. (we still don't even know EXACTLY what goes into the PP profit margin, and hence, the CLD return). These Arkadia underground deeds, well we all know exactly what goes into the weekly profit for those... TAXES!

Oh, and a big thanks to Mr. Dobson and the Ark team for making the decision to hold off on selling the deeds until GC holders are able to get back in game. :hail:

 

5 percent is consistent with the las owned on arkadia thus far. I look forward to getting some. But I suspect they will all be bought out by resellers and then flooded on the market for far more.

Some advanced warning for when they will be listed is appreciated.

 

Why is everyone so worked up on the deeds? So you miss out on a weeks worth of revenue, big deal. Once the broker is in, it will not sell out. 10 million ped in deeds will go a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong ways.

1 million usd for a land area seems way too much, to be completely honest.

 

It is effectively multiple land areas with the many sections or domes. I don't know how many domes there are in effect but should be priced at $25000 each.
