My guess crone is that your 600 points wont qualify as it was team for tickets? And as teams cant get tickets??
Or atleast I figure it to be so as U guys have 608 points regged up onto EL. However there are 2 teams with that name on EL with one of thoose only have a few aurlis.

You points are indeed at 4th rank with: 232+267+145 = 644

But due to teams cannot be finalist on the final event, the ticket will be gone to the lower rank which in this case were Oleg.
Teams can win top3 and no tickets. Check main post for "Additional rules" as they are stated there.

Teams can however win most globals or and highest hof prize

There seems to be some misconceptions about mining here. The HOF cutoff for mining is NOT 250-300 as suggested. That is the old style of mining loot (AKA pre-2013 mining, AKA "fun" mining). It has not been this high for over a year. Most days the HOF threshold is around 85, only rarely going above 100 ped and regularly under 70. So... since it's limited to 3 non-HOF globals, miners can only win a daily event if nobody is hunting that day (since they can't get higher than ~ 250 points). I don't think it's a good idea to combine the two professions into one event.

We consider mining as a surplus in the event rules, so if for sure it's not possible to win daily events with mining only, the way you can get hofs in mining can add the needed points to rise one position in a head to head competition for a prize, expecially in the final event of 2 weeks, we might see the partecipants looking to increase their own score with few mining hofs.

To have an event where miners and hunters can play at same level is not a possibility in EU, the many examples we had in the years show it. We just didn't want to exclude the mining globals/hofs completely from the event, that is mainly an hunting event.

 

Really, you're going to give certain people (presumably of your choice) an unfair advantage with free healing?

 

Rock means he's available to heal anyone will need and ask, not just for friends or for someone of his choice

 

So what about people who aren't online at the right time, or who don't need a healer, what do they get?

I said only when I have time. I mostly use my time hunting Magurgs or at Calypso so wont be able to heal. But the time I have free, I will do that. I simply go to Quarry and say " Offering free healing service at ALA1" Did that today and willing to do later.


Also I'm doing this to give the lower skilled players who want to try a boost. If this feels a rudeness by me, I'm sorry for that.

When it comes to running events I think my advice is worth something, so here it is.

If you want to run an event that is not only fair, but is also seen to be fair (which is equally important), then you should not be interfering in any way which can affect the results.

You've already affected the results on the first day by taking part yourself, and now you're offering assistance to some of those taking part which could make a difference to the results in the future. For example it could mean the difference between someone not being able to kill a Stalker, and winning the highest loot prize by getting a very big Stalker HoF.

If you want happy participants, I would strongly recommend you give further thought to the way that your actions impact on people's perception of your event.

 

I totally hear what you are saying Oleg and usually participating in one's own event isn't the greatest. The only thing that I see is unfair about this is that it is free. Anyone can hire a fapper so the only advantage is that you don't have to pay. If he is trying to encourage hunting in the LA, which is mostly the point of the contest (besides some mad fun) then offering healing isn't out of the question. I saw similar things with the recent BIG event - someone offering free healing on any BIG LA. Just having a big fapper doesn't mean anyone can still kill them. But like I said, I totally respect your point Oleg.

 

HI , just read this post today and im intrigued (what dmg do mugurg do , what armor is best ?)

Plus it says the top 3 globals count and hofs count as 1 point. so say you get this

Global 75 - HOF 130 - HOF 190 - HOF 120 - Global 110 - Global 50 = 238 points for the day (cause all the hofs even so low cause i play at an odd time) pls confirm cause hypothecally those hofs normally are globals (just it was bad timing) so cause of bad timing i have to suffer..

Magurg does Cut/Stab/Imp damage, as atrox for example if I'm not wrong.

About count of points you are right, that combination gives 235 points from globals + 3 from the 3 hofs

 

Hmm im going in ghost and 5b with liakon arms and shogun feet. Thoose are not good thou they hit me for bout 100 when they hit my feet. Best armor for me atm if I could choose liakon +5b gyro 22 or similar.

 

So if I offer healing service for money it will be better you mean?

I'm anyway out of it as participate after thinking. It is my first event so any comments helps me. Thank you for the advice.
I'll be hunting on the LA as it is my, but wont count any points. Hope that makes people happy
