You should not discuss all of this, it's pointless. Better write a SC's. More SC's - more chance to MA reaction.
But that all is just a sign for A-Team to start such events in the desert, where there are no walls and no place to hide.
And the problem will disappear.
I participated in the first attack of Oratans (and awarded poster hanging on my wall in the apartment), but I almost did not participate in the next events, mainly due to lags, disconnects, flying mobs and poor loot distribution.
My participation was only into selling damage enhancers to you, thanks to those who bought them

 

This is the way it's always been. Planet Partners don't have direct control over avatar accounts or items. I think it's a good thing though it can potentially result in problems not being addressed to the PP's satisfaction.

 

Well.. Make it at one of the Oratan Camps N of Steadfast next time instead.. Can make it a revenge-attack on the Oratans.. Just have to disable the wavespawns in the meanwhile tho..

 

I thought about starting a new thread but realized that it would be insta squashed as MA would come down on David for allowing a topic like that to go on with any REAL discussion in it. I had enough of those battles back on PCF before I got banned. You start putting out the truths to the public and they come down hard and fast for it. I have to much respect for what David is trying to do to put him in that tight a position as I have already pushed the limits with the little bit I do put out already.

If you feel the need to do so Rock on mate I will add my 2 pec but don't expect it to go far for any serious discussions. MA will squash it or the standard Richie Rich's of the game will take the thread out of context as they always do to protect their investments and throw it all off and get it closed over the ensuing arguments.

I don't think this would work. The little oratan themselves sometimes launch themselves into the air going over the obstacles. I think the huts and towers would make the bosses fly and/or get stuck even worse than at the firebases.

 

I mean if after being warned by official avatars not to do it and still do it goes without consequences

I would just temp ban him for a few months at least ...

Because if this situation is left unchecked I would say that all respect for rules will be lost.

the correct procedure would been cast away from that server all offenders to a more calm location and give them a personal unavoidable to deny warning and if they didn't care temp lock the account immediatly for investigation for a couple of years.

 

No, in that case it was a Mindark official avatar. You can tell by the presence of "Mindark" in the avatar's name. I could be wrong but far as I'm aware, only Mindark employees have direct access to the avatar database and other live systems. Planet partners don't have that kind of access.

 

Hey, thats a brilliant move.. just dont hope the "throw you to the corner" limit isnt too low.. I sometimes forget not to shoot too early in the heat of the battle, and i'm prolly not the only one with good intentions doing it by "mistake"..

Sucks that dale gets to run away with the fap, and we will probably see many more people standing on the bridge shooting now untill the new VU comes.
