Hi all! Todays question is about... and for... development of Arkadia! I would like to know whether it was planned in the near future, the creation of similar zone on (near) Arkadia? Very inconvenient when I need to fly to play on the FOMA or HELL. We have already received PvP and oil rig too . It's time to run the zone for the professional miners! It would also be interesting to see in this area : - Treasure Hunt (this may give a larger size of claims (HoF), and will attract players) - SOOTO that differ from findings on the planet - No mobs (not to interfere with search for resources) - 2-3 new resources that can be found only there - Landscape as the ruins of an abandoned underground city - The mysterious name like 'Kulokhar Ruins' Dreamed to would get this zone for Christmas! For moderator: If my post in wrong section, please move thread. Thanks!
I would love to see "indoor" mining on Arkadia. Treasure hunting could be very cool that way with valuable SOOTOs. Makes a good break from planet mining.
Hmmm, I can't really say I agree with you there Axe. Ark is one of the best and easiest planets to mine on due to the defined mob spawns and lovely open areas, mining missions have been introduced (or at least the first of a series has) and all of the arkadian ores and enmatters are used in BPs (whether these are crafted or not is another thing).....in fact, I'd put forward that miners are considered far more on Ark than any other planet. However, I would (and I'm sure the devs will too) be interested in why you think it has been neglected, if you are willing to share your views?
The mining here is some of the best. I would not give MA any ideas on how to force another add-on onto Arkadia. The PvP lootable area did not seem like it was planned, nor the oil rig. It was not done in normal Ark fashion, more like MA telling Ark what had to be implemented. I can still remember David saying PvP was not a top priority of Ark development..... Plus.... do not forget about the Underground.... That is still to come
pvp lootable its guidlines to rare stuffs (pyrite to enhacer in special) and Oil ring dont know why need it
Maybe no force but in Guidelines if your want pyrite in your planet your need add one lootable/toxic zone
IIRC, when it came up in discussion before, the A-team said we were unlikely to see a foma style mining system on Ark. Of course things do change and they can't exactly talk in detail about plans. I would LIKE to see foma style mining on Ark because it's fun to mine that way sometimes... but I'm not convinced that it would be good for the economy; I think it's too easy to get huge quantities of ores and crash MUs.
I thought this was the plan for the Underground addition to 8coins, whenever that is supposed to happen.
maybe treasure only? or maybe include somes new materials But awalys dont think need , sometimes crafters complain about resourcer avaible but dont see much people to consume if increase supply both in weapon and ore prices in weapon going down and ore going down to
Because of the limited supply, we get the more expensive resources on Arkadia. Perhaps this is beneficial in such players as Neil, and of course me, if I do mining runs , but it is not conducive to the flow of people to Arkadia. With FOMA/HELL zone, prices will go down. So less prices - more crafters, more crafters - more another players, IMO.
Our focus right now is on missions, looking forward to get some of them in with next release. And before anyone gets all excited about it, no, none of these missions coming involve bound rewards. Of course we always have sideline projects in development as well, mainly looking at ways to improve the economy of the planet.
