OK, so I go to this thread to see if there is some tool for helping me figure out where to mine or how much to sell things for and to my surprise there are these multi-faceted tools out there. I'm pretty confused, though on how they integrate with Entropia and what are the advantages and disadvantages of each. There are independent threads on various tools, but what I'd like is something like a consumer report side by side comparison of the various tools that explains advantages and disadvantages of each. What tool should I use?
For mining, use LBML. You can download it from http://www.mininglog.com Setting it up can be tricky and i've made a video that explains the process: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ie-gtMLr82M Learning how to maximize your profit from auctions takes a lot of experience and awareness of the market and I don't think there's simple tool that can do that process for you. The three basic tools are the official market value history, graphs, and the current auction listings.
We've actually got a product review facility set up on the forum. Van and I were toying with it ages ago. I'll have a look at it when I get a chance and see if we can utilise it for thing like this.
Is this still in the plans to be looked at? Basically I'm in the same situation as the OP. I've been keeping track by hand, but I'm starting to see that will not be sufficient or efficient. Essentially I want to use the most practical tool for the general doodah, on a basic level. So until the new function is/might be active, I would like to ask the more experienced players: - Which tool(s) do you use? - Are there any empty spreadsheets available somewhere? (as I don't feel confident enough to make one from scratch: I'm only on a very, very basic level with excel) :surrender:
Not at this stage no. With all the issues that the recent VB update has created, I am instead looking at completely migrating to a different forum engine. Once that is sorted, I will look at getting things back on track such as this, but the basic forum stuff needs to be fully up to par before I do.
Okidoki, thanks for answering. I wont wait for that then, and pursue other venues. By the way, looking forward to the 'new & improved' forum. Hopefully there wont be as many sub-forums, as it can be quite hard to find certain threads again. Or maybe that's something that I will learn in due time.
