Not sure this is the right place but it is at least a decent guess for this.

Been chatting via PM with KJ about this...so here is what I have been hearing/told...

There are one or two booths at the Ark Quarry that seem to be empty or unowned. I have not seen them on Ark Auction and the common idea is they have not been sold to anyone and so, they are not yet auctioned off.

I am hoping to find out if this is the case and, if so, when they might be auctioned off?

    or

If this is NOT the case, how can I find out who actually holds the deed and try to secure one (or both) of these booths?

Depending on actual cost, I can probably move on them within a short time frame (a week or three depending) so, any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

You can always look at the estate terminal to find out who owns the property. If it says something like "estate broker" then it's not currently owned by a player. I don't think anyone knows when the 2 new quarry booths will be sold. It may be dependent on arkadia's population growth.

Snape, why do you need extras now that you can upgrade the item capacity of the one you have?

Cannot upgrade booths on Arkadia. I think they are scared of letting booth owners be comparable to the shops, in fear of angering shop owners.

Bzzt!. I added 20 points to my booth so I could fit more shopkeepers.

Actually the booths already are more desirable than the shops and the prices reflect that. The booths were sold before any shops, which was a good way to sell them, I think... prime real estate first.

Its all about location, location, location

Each booth has a start of 20 item points, with an option to upgrade up to another 50, the thread for pricing is a few events back in the listings...

With the booths in the Quarry, CryEngine does not interfere and they are working just fine. The problem with the Shops negating much of the value, is that they are built upon layers. A Cryengine world is built upon water, and the shops in the harbor for example were built on top of a waterfall, and existing terrain... so, your computer loads it all, and at times walking through the shops, you can glitch into the old terrain. The fact that you may or may not see the old terrain does not matter, your computer still knows its there and loads it, causing lag issues, and glitches... Location, Location, Location...

Actually you're incorrect there Venture, we can upgrade the item points of the booths. Kikki has already done so and I've just put an order in myself yesterday to up the ones on mine ;)

    Because it's shiny and I'm a Magpie ;)

Speaking of Magpies....(if you're an Aussie you'll appreciate and understand the humour here)

In all seriousness though, I'm contemplating getting the other one and then selling off #3....but then again, I might keep it and enable us to place our whole Arkadia range at the Quarry as well as at SC.

Or maybe I could share it with you and we could both have a huge presence at the Quarry ;)

    I simply don't know yet.

Heh, I kinda expected a booth at the quarry to be a war zone in 5 minute (or less) pulses...*wink*

My my my...already discounting the "Fat Dwarf" are we Snape? tsk tsk tsk....

Remember what they say about counting the chickens before the eggs are hatched my friend.

After all I did buy the Starfinder XIV without investors *wink*...

Though I do like the idea of owning more then one booth at the quarry..*cough all cough*...but baby steps...have to take over ownership of one first.

That sir is gospel truth hence why I am interested in the quarry booth....or two...or all (cough inside voice Sim...inside voice)...:cowboy:

The important thing for booth owners is to keep them stocked with relevant items at decent prices. If you're not selling a lot out of your booth then it's probably not good for the community. Booth owners who have not used their booths or bought them merely for speculation have received a lot of backlash in the past.
