Hello all mentor, From what I understand with the 'new' mentoring system anyone can become a disciple. Back in the old days when I started nearly nine years ago I kicked my mentor because he was a farmer. After that I couldn't get a new one. But if I get it right, now I can again. Just need to find a mentor who's better in hunting with swords. So, who can and wants to become my 'mentor'? I promise I won't ask you question about what is what. Ardorj
you don't need someone that's higher in a particular skill, just one that have higher level then your top. (unless something changed) And with that said I am higher then 40+ in Swords/Brawler for melee professions
As I understand it, your mentor's highest profession just has to be higher than your highest profession; it doesn't have to be in swordsman (which I'm assuming is your highest profession). Edit: I see Jenny beat me to it.
I tried to add a socmate yesterday as my mentor. His highest prostanding is something that goes pew-pew or ratata at level 56. I got a note that said I couldn't get a mentor (or somewhere along those lines). Can I try to add you Jenny?

Stupid me. I already got a mentor, but he is most likely inactive. He was a former socmate of mine, Egg90. I'm ~95% in progress - yes I go slow enough to forget. I haven't done the 'hunt with your mentor' thing yet. What is the best I can do now? 1) Go on to 100% and ask MindArk to complete my discipleship 2) Kick Egg90 as mentor and start over 3) I don't know, some better option? Ardorj :shrug:
